    Rock N Roll Drive-In

I agreeeee! ...he makes the whole process so fascinating. I watched this during a holiday break & loved it every second of it - just like you say, don't miss a second. For some reason the dogs even sat beside me and watched it too. (Probably in hope of food 😄) This is even though I have never set foot in studio (& never will except on a tourist guided-tour or something).

  6. Hm.. and here I was picturing the type of food fight scene from Animal House. Corn dogs and Shepherd's pies flying I the air..

    Ben's section?

Maybe "Benmont's Boogie" could be in there as subsection's subheading?

What Music Are You Listening To Right Now?

... J masculine (haha, autocorrect)... J Mascis from Dinosaur Jr. filmed about 5 years ago.
  15. I don't know.. Was hoping for some more chopping, dicing and braising from your response.. some smoking and curing for sure. You just gonna let it stand like that, raw and hardly plucked??

    Ben's section?

Isn't it about time Ben gets his own subsection here? Much like The Knobs have? I know I would peek down the "Good Street" as often as I could. (Better name than Welcome To He'll, arguably.....) Just an idea.

Unheard Song From The Mojo Sessions?

This just makes me want to listen to it so much more! I've got my fingers crossed that it ends up on YouTube or somewhere sometime soon. I guess until then I'll just get my fix from what you can hear on the Mojo doc 😂

Unheard Song From The Mojo Sessions?

Haven't heard it yet, but Sonny Boy Williamson is one the greatest harp players ever. Those are some big shoes to fill. I'm looking forward to hearing it.

Unheard Song From The Mojo Sessions?

Just heard it for the first time. How cool! I've always wished that this song had made it onto the actual album. Scott does a great job on the harmonica on this track, and the rest of the band is locked in as usual.

Since no one else has responded, I'll tackle this one. Hamburgers? Tom Petty & the Hamburgers? I see what you're saying. I'm going to refine it a bit. Maybe TPATH's music is like a hamburger joint but... ...each burger has the perfect layering of ingredients, where other places throw on a standard amount of garnish, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, etc. TPATH layer on just the right amount of each ingredient, very carefully measured out, with some additional seasonings you won't notice unless pointed out but ones your palette appreciates. That's not all. In addition to burgers, plain and with cheese, they also offer up the occasional unique grilled cheese, corned beef, turkey and even a veggie burger. While most people come and stay for the burgers, there's the regulars who go for these lesser popular plates and even enjoy the daily specials. If TPATH are burger makers than to my taste, the bob segers/bruce springsteens/eagles/james gang/random United States classic rock band are like McDonald's. True they may have a good meal here and there but it's generic processed junk. TPATH are the Mom-and-Pop restaurant, there's something unique about the quality of their food and the care with which they put it together, deceptively simple yet more nutritious and tastier than you'd think. ciao

Unheard Song From The Mojo Sessions?

I am so happy that they are releasing this song. It's an excellent sounding cover, and it grabbed me right when I first heard it in the "Making of Mojo" documentary years ago. I can't wait to hear it.
