WildflowerNJ 136 Report post Posted October 30, 2010 I do...and I can't wait to eat what is left over, lol! We always buy so much..but being where we are in such a rural place...we will probably just get the neighbor's kids...four of them. Lots of candy left! :003:
Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted October 30, 2010 Nope, I didn't buy any because I'll be at work all weekend. But I did pick up some for my Sister and Son to give out at their homes.

Softanimal 7 Report post Posted October 30, 2010 The only candy I have in this house is for myself, lol! Nobody comes around to ask for sweets tonight anyway.
Magnolia 171 Report post Posted October 30, 2010 No, they tell me that we don't get in kids trick or treating here in our complex. The neighborhood is an older demographic. There is a Halloween party tonight here at the complex for the residents, though. Tomorrow night I'm going to my daughter's neighborhood to trick-or-treat with some of her friend's kids. Patty Petty 9 Report post Posted October 30, 2010 We have candy to hand out. We don't get many kids though. We're the last street before the next town and not many kids come down this way. Don't know why.
nurktwin 2,143 Report post Posted October 30, 2010 not yet, waiting for the WD to go buy it. i don't shop for xmas, let alone halloween. we live on the main street here and get tons of kids. last year we started with 250 king sized candy bars and ran out in the 1st hour!!!! maybe i should buy those mini bars so the kids won't meet on the sidewalks and say "go to Benny's house, he has the good stuff".....lol. i have cut back in recent years, i no longer give a candy bar to anyone dressed as Gumby or Howdie Doodie that is over 50 years old!!!! Refugee 7 Report post Posted October 30, 2010 Nope, not yet. I live by a high school and elementary school and we do not get that many kids anymore. :085: It's really a shame, I miss the little ones. I will be working, so I have to get some for my husband and daughter to hand out.

DCAHNM 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2010 We live in the woods, away from the streets, so no trick-or-treaters... but I always have candy.
wildgator 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2010 Oh gosh, we had "safe Halloween" in town tonight. The officials shut down main street and the kids get a chance to trick or treat safely. We went through 8 bags of candy (250 -300 pieces per bag) in ONE hour!!! I've never seen so many kids...good turn out this year.
