The forthcoming deluxe edition of Damn The Torpedoes will be available on two 180gram LPs mastered for vinyl from the original analog master tapes.

The deluxe edition of Damn The Torpedoes features nine additional bonus tracks not included on the original album. Seven of these tracks are previously unreleased including two studio tracks from the original Damn The Torpedoes sessions: “Nowhere” and “Surrender.”

In addition to the black vinyl version, TomPetty.com is currently offering a collector’s edition RED VINYL version of Damn The Torpedoes – Deluxe Edition that is limited to only 500 copies, hand numbered in gold foil.

All vinyl editions are released by Backstreet/Geffen/UMe/ORG MUSIC and include a 12 page full color book featuring liner notes by noted rock journalist/author David Fricke, rare photos, and lyrics to each track.

Plus, the vinyl editions include a download of the entire album in one of three high quality digital formats (320k MP3, 24/96 FLAC, or Apple Lossless), redeemable until November 9, 2011.
