I am a college professor and I voted street smart. I know several educated idiots. They have a very difficult life. I would rather be able to figure out people and situations than recite Dickens. I have been blessed to have both. ^^And yes sugar, book smart can get you the job, but without common sense you just iritate the people you have to work with. :)

lol Emmie. I just avoided a huge traffic jam on highway 880 by taking a backroad, so I'm feeling pretty street smart...lol I think it's important to have a balance of both. I'd like to be relationship smart, which usually requires a little bit of both and life experience.

Street smarts get my respect, because street-smart people often have a closer relationship with reality than people who get lofty ideals from books but don't know how to apply anything to life.

I voted street smart too, I have 2 relatives that are educated idiots and I kinda feel sorry for them cuz their common sense is very limited.
