Refugee 7 Report post Posted October 24, 2010 Do tell us, what is it that drives you absolutely crazy with your neighbor or neighbors?
DCAHNM 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2010 (edited) The people who live up the road from me NEVER look when they pull out of their driveway onto the road. They just assume no one is gonna be driving up the road. (btw, not too many people live on my road... it dead-ends and I live at the dead-end. Therefore, I should have right-of-way)... One time, they were inches away from t-boning my car. Had it just been me in that car (had my 3-year-old and I was preggo at the time), I would have let them NAILED my car! And EP would be driving a NICE vehicle.. (btw, the neighbors have lots of $$$$).. I got revenge a week or so later.. They got behind be.. I drove really slow and obeyed EVERY traffic law there was! Made 'em late for wherever they were going. Lesson: Don't mess with EP. Edited October 24, 2010 by EPettyhead
Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted October 24, 2010 I have the hypochondriac neighbor from hell. She knows I'm a Nurse so whenever she sees me she comes running across the street to tell me ALL and I do mean ALL of her health problems. The woman has become a nightmare for me. I find myself trying to sneak in and out of my own house when I know she's home. I swear she watches out her window for me, lol. And now, not only does she want to tell me about all her ailments but her family members as well. Arghhhhhh!! Then my neighbors behind me have the constant barking dogs. But I must say it has gotten a little better lately. I think they've had so many complaints they had to do something.
WildflowerNJ 136 Report post Posted October 24, 2010 I am sorry about your neighbors, Sharon and Emily. I have no complaints, my neighbors are always nice and helpful, the guy down the road dug me out of that snowstorm last Feb. when Fred was in the hospital. I would have got the whole driveway shoveled..eventually, lol...(he did it under 4 minutes.) But that sure made it easier. I guess it helps that we have lots and lots of land between us all.... AngelDream 16 Report post Posted October 24, 2010 I got a neighbor that lives caddy corner from my property, can't see their house, but my complaint is when they are outside working on the car or in the yard, they play mexican or latino music really loud!! If it was Rock n Roll, I wouldn't mind it so much, but that mexican stuff is like Rap to me! If I'm outside too and I hear it playing, I'll turn the car radio up to Rock n Roll just to gound theirs out..lol.
asakitten 13 Report post Posted October 24, 2010 The only complaint that I have is that the kids across the street are are brats and their parents let them get away with it.

surfnburn 5 Report post Posted October 24, 2010 We have a couple of scary crazy neighbors who need to be on medication or something. The police have been called on one a couple of times. It kinda puts the neighbors who let their dogs poop in my yard in perspective. So I don't have any complaints if the ones with mental health problems seek treatment...jeez. Oh...and leaf blowers. I've had enough of them.
conmae 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2010 The house next door is empty and in forclosure. The yard is a complete disaster.
wild1forever 152 Report post Posted October 24, 2010 My neighbors are actually pretty good right now. The only real problem I've ever had was with barking dogs, but those people have since moved away.
Refugee 7 Report post Posted October 24, 2010 I have odd neighbors and I'm sure they think the same thing about me, lol. The only complaint, right now, is my next door neighbor to the left of me. Frank just loves to bitch and moan about anything. His worst offense, that stupid ass fireplace he loves to burn 24/7 when he "thinks" it's cold. Pfffft. With my asthma, I wish he would use his heating system like everyone else does on this cul de sac. We are ALL tired of the smoke from his chimney. I can't for Santa Barbara County to restrict fireplace usage.

Beamish 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2010 Our neighbors are nice, but I could do without the video game noise and Ranchero music after 10pm.
kelly 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2010 my neighbors are really nice, but kind of nosey. And they all seem to be home ALL THE TIME and I'm never really home because I work and commute, and that keeps me away for about 12-13 hours a day Monday-Friday. So they'll see me and they act all shocked, like "look who it is! I can't believe what I'm seeing!" and they tell me all the time -"You're NEVER home!" This is pretty annoying because I'm a single woman who works and I pay for everything and the mortgage all by myself. I guess the payoff for having the nice house is that I'm never home much. It really kind of burns my a$$ because they are either retired, or unemployed, or living off someone else's income. I do it all myself and they razz me every time they see me. Maybe they're just bored.
nurktwin 2,143 Report post Posted October 26, 2010 ^ don't get upset, there will always be someone or something out there that will piss you off all your life. learn to ignore it and move on. maybe instead of looking out a window at them, you should look at that little window called a computer screen and see us, your friends.
