They had a special on VH1Classics a few days ago celebrating the 50th anniversary of Telecasters, they had 7 or 8 musicians up on stage (which I could remember who all was there) each with a Tele...it was awesome to watch, sounded great too! guitarstudent 8 Report post Posted October 22, 2010 (edited) Well, both have their advantages but I'll take the versatility of a guitar with 3 pickups so I gotta vote Strat. Of course, they make it complicated by now offering a 3-pickup Tele.... Here's the latest addition to my family. (Sorry, not American made but quality is excellent and the finish is, well, amazing.) Since you specified American made, second picture shows why I vote American made Strat. Strats just have that look..
