SingsInFrench 262 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 Yes they're just regular members of the family. My dogs were never as messy as my boys, anyway. I probably should have kept Ben and Nick off the furniture!
Harrisong 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 of course!!!
Pankie 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 Monsieur owns the furniture -- so, yes, he's on everything!
Patty Petty 9 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 It's just Prince now and he really doesn't jump on the furniture. If he is on it, we put him there, or he is on our laps kinda.
Softanimal 7 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 Pets are not allowed in my apartment, but if they were around... Well, what the heck, I have a vacuumer!
LizzieB 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 They are allowed on one leather chair/ottoman and the bedroom sofa after we put their cover on it. We can't do any more than that. Lillie has the worst shedding I've ever seen and her fur is white, and Romeo is so oily, he leaves brown spots over time.
kelly 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 I have 2 cats. So no matter what I think is allowed or not - they go wherever they want. I'm lucky they allow me on the furniture. One thing they will not touch is the the 36 inch tall scratching post I bought them (of course!)
weird monkey 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 Absolutely not! Filthy little beasts! Unfortunately it is their house and they make the rules. I am probably lucky that I am allowed on the furniture. [Edit] Oh ha! I just read Kelly's post - great minds...
Refugee 7 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 My cat rules the house, lol. He's allowed on the furniture, but only likes one cushion of the love seat, that's his.
Sugar 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 Yes, they have their favorite green chair.I tried to post their picture here, but it's not working for me. Oh my stellar computer skills....
Starfish 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 Yes, my dog is all over the furniture. Luckily she doesn't shed.
Amber 70 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 Well at the risk of being blasted.....I do not allow animals in my house. I only let children because I have to. If the animal learns to use the toilet, takes a bath everyday, brushes his teeth at least twice a day, and can eat without getting anything outside the plate, he can stay. I bought all new furniture when our son moved out! Yes, I am a little neat and like things clean.
WildflowerNJ 136 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 My Smokey and my Mikey are my family...yeah, Mikey likes the window sills and does come on the bed sometimes, Smokey has his own dog bed but he comes to sleep with me, too (I put his blanket on the bed and help him up now) and they run the house, lol... surfnburn 5 Report post Posted October 5, 2010 My cats think I'm the furniture.
kelly 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2010 ^ me, too! My black cat Cassidy sleeps on my bed and likes to lay right across my ankle, problem is it makes my whole leg fall asleep. And then I wake up and kick, and I feel so bad for him. He just will not sleep in a pet bed. My other cat Guthrie does, but she jumps on and off my bed about 5 times a night before she settles down. I also can not imagine life without pets!
WildflowerNJ 136 Report post Posted October 5, 2010 ^Teresa, my sweet Smokey (who is going to be 14 years young this Feb) cannot get on the bed, either, by himself. He wants to sleep with me...as he has for all of these years...so....I help him up
