Refugee 7 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 You are stuck in a house during a really bad storm, who do you think would drive you crazy first — Ron Blair, Mike Campbell, Steve Ferrone, Tom Petty, or Benmont Tench?
WildflowerNJ 136 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 Wow, I am thinking they wouldn't but that is a nice thought....
Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 I'm thinking they should be more worried about which one of them I'M going to drive crazy first. If I really had to choose I'll have to say, Tom. Only because he'd probably want to smoke and that's a NO-NO inside so I'm sure he'd get all pissed off about it and drive everybody nuts.
Patty Petty 9 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 Jeeze, who knows. I don't "know" any of them. I guess I'll go with Sharon's answer. Poor Tom. I do hope he's quit smoking.
AmyLou 5 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 Same answer here = probably Tom - I think he's probably more of a prima donna than the rest.
agirl 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 I'd have to say Mike, just because I don't think he's much of a conversationalist.
somewheredowntheroad 20 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 It wouldn't be Ron or Benmont - I could stare at either of them for hours. Plus I would love to talk to Benmont about all the books he has read and his favorite prose writers, novelists and poets. Now if they were all at my house, I would have to cook something since I can't stand when people aren't eating. So whoever is the pickiest eater (most likely Tom) would probably drive me crazy, and if anyone reached for the salt (or left the table to smoke), well I would probably slap their hand (or lock them outside). Steve, looks like he likes to eat, so it wouldn't be him. So the smoking thing would probably put Tom at the top of the "bad" list. I have one question Ref - Why did you leave Scott off the list? Patty Petty 9 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 'Cause he's a Sidebreaker, not a Heartbreaker! LMAO!

Beamish 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 probably Tom
Sugar 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 This is too hard for me. They all seem like such nice people, and I don't know if any one has weird vices that would drive me crazy. So, I will make up a story that Steve is a neat freak and that was hard to deal with.
weird monkey 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 So we'd all be okay with Scott? I have no idea. Probably none of them. Maybe any of them. This isn't a trick Misery-like question is it?
DCAHNM 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 I don't know either. I would just be glad to be in the same house with them. I would probably drive them crazy. So, to answer the question, I'll say Benmont. I don't really know why, lol
somewheredowntheroad 20 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 Kira - now that puts an interesting spin on the whole crazy theme. Good crazy - like feeling fifteen again and the cutest guys just walked into your living room - oh my. I better stop thinking about that - I'm at work for heavens sake. HeartbreakerFan 27 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 I don't think any of them would drive us crazy. I am with several of you--we as fans would drive them crazy with questions and being in awe of all their talent.
Amber 70 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 I actually think Mike is probably a great conversationalist. He seems very well spoken and interesting in the interviews I have seen. To me, Tom seems to be the moodiest of the bunch. Probably him. I would drive Mike crazy wanting him to play all night long. Benmont has such a great sense of humor I cannot image getting bored with him, but his sharp wit may make me a little crazy trying to keep up. Steve just seems like a sweety. Can't image him bothering anyone. All in all, they seem like a group of nice guys and I think it would be an evening to remember. I think we could have a blast! Yer so bad 4 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 That´s a nice question, but I can´t decide, I think Tom´d probably drive me crazy first, cause we have a similar sense of humour, but the other guys seem to be very funny too, I don´t know!! Can I choose the whole band?
somewheredowntheroad 20 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 I'm with you - Yer so bad. Let's choose the whole band - including the Sidebreaker - Scott.
SingsInFrench 262 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 I might drive myself crazy but none of the band would. What a great fantasy! I like somewhere's idea of cooking for them. If the lights were out, I'd light candles and cook on the gas stove. I'd ask the guys to play for me (unplugged) while I cooked. After dinner, if they seemed sick of my conversation, I'd turn on Turner Classic Movies, which Tom likes, to watch an old film. Oh, I could go on and on... Refugee 7 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 There is no way Mike, Benmont, or Steve would drive me crazy. Ron can not do wrong in my eyes, he's way too sweet and too nice to drive anybody crazy. So...by process of elimination, it would have to be Tom. I have a feeling he's not as laid back as everyone thinks he is.
somewheredowntheroad 20 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 ^^Hey Sings In French - if they wind up at your house please send me a message - I'll help you cook, or do the dishes.
SingsInFrench 262 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 ^^Hey Sings In French - if they wind up at your house please send me a message - I'll help you cook, or do the dishes. Sounds like a deal! (Oh, I guess I couldn't show a movie unless the power came back on) If not, we'd just have to play more music! Maybe covers with a sing-a-long.
TomFest 576 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 I had a dream once that Keith Richards and Mick Jagger were at my house. Just sitting on the living room couch. I have no idea why they were there, but it seemed perfectly normal at the time. LOL If the Heartbreakers were all there I guess I'd give them all instruments and just sit back and shut up.
