weird monkey 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2010 1. When you go shopping to buy yourself clothes, what store do you go to for the best deals? Angel View Thrift shop, but for tops mostly. Zappos.com is almost unbeatable for shoes. 2. Of all the stores near you, which store is likely the last one you would visit to look for a bargain on clothes? I refuse to shop at WalMart, period 3. Which are you more likely to spend more money on: a haircut and style OR a bottle of your favorite shampoo and conditioner? Haircut and style - I often buy hair care products like Sebastian at Big Lots for a 1/3 of the price. I used to buy Phyto, whihich is great, but yeah, it cost almost as much as a trip to the hair salon. 4. When it comes to you, which of these items do you feel you spend more money on: a pair of jeans, a pair of shoes, an accessory (belt, purse, wallet, jewelry), sports wear or undergarments? Jeans. I'm not into any of that other stuff, but comfortable jeans are worth apying a little more for. 5. Take the quiz: What’s Your Shopping Stereotype? You're interested in trends - not fads. You tend to be the first one to try the latest gadget or must have item. Your curiosity always wins out. People consider you to be an expert on what's in demand, and you often find yourself giving shopping advice. 6. If you had to cut out three “luxury” or unnecessary "things" you often buy now for three months to save money during an income pinch, which three "things" would you choose to do without? I am in a pinch, and so far I've dropped new clothes, Murad under eye cream, and I'll be canceling Dishnet as soon as I get another cradle for my XM receiever (I'm a news junkie, and XM carries all the cable news stations.) I really need some shoes though, I don't think I can put that off much longer.
MaryJane 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2010 1. When you go shopping to buy yourself clothes, what store do you go to for the best deals? Almost any store in my mall. They're all WAY overpriced. 3. Which are you more likely to spend more money on: a haircut and style OR a bottle of your favorite shampoo and conditioner? You're most likely to be found shopping in discount stores, but you also know how to rock the clearance rack at top end places. People are always complementing you on your finds, and they can't believe how cheaply you get everything. 6. If you had to cut out three “luxury” or unnecessary "things" you often buy now for three months to save money during an income pinch, which three "things" would you choose to do without? Hmmm, probably eating out, any unnecessary "goodies" I buy (such as those little things you pick up out of impulse right at the checkout line at the grocery store), and traveling.
