Refugee 7 Report post Posted April 6, 2010 (UPI) - Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash says the stars who stepped up to help record his first solo album gave him a "whole new respect for singers." The guitarist also known for his stint with Velvet Revolver, told Sunday's New York Post his self-titled album, which drops today, was "inspired by great singers I wanted to work with." Among the guest stars appearing on "Slash" are Ozzy Osbourne, Fergie, Adam Levine, Chris Cornell and Iggy Pop, the Post said. "The one cool thing that did come out of this was that it gave me a whole new respect for singers, and changed my attitude toward them given the last couple of guys that I've worked with," he told the newspaper. "These people were all amazingly gracious and professional."
