Friday Five - 03/12/10

1. Do you take walks? If so, where do you like to walk?

I do, often. I do my treadmill everyday bit I also walk the beach...in all kinds of weather. Allaire State Park, Cattus Island, too...

2. What does your hair look like today?

Lol, the same...long and straight..

3. What are you jealous of?

I can't think of anything...

4. What winds you up?

Right now, thinking of my gardens to come. Very excited about all the seed varities...

5. What makes you stare?

The waves at the ocean....flowers I have planted and tended myself....my Smokey walking towards me from the back of the property...my husband. :heart:

1. Do you take walks? If so, where do you like to walk? - I do occasionally. Usually when my grandson comes over we walk a couple of blocks to the park and canal to feed the ducks

5. What makes you stare? - Anyone who is staring at me or someone dressed weirdly in public.

1. Do you take walks? If so, where do you like to walk? I walk every day, I'm always training for something! My favorite place to walk is in San Diego, but since that's a little far away, I usually end up walking around Lake Galena (six miles) or my neighborhood park.

2. What does your hair look like today? Same as always, just pulled into a ponytail.

3. What are you jealous of? People who live in LaJolla!

4. What winds you up? In a bad way, rude people. In a good way... live music!

5. What makes you stare? I don't stare, my momma taught me it was rude.

1. Do you take walks? If so, where do you like to walk? Yes. I walk about a mile every day in NYc (to and from work from the bus station). I love to walk around outside - the (ocean) beach, the river, the Pine Barrens. Anything that is the opposite of NYC!

2. What does your hair look like today? Damp from rain. Just had it cut into some layers, shoulder length, wavy, brown.

3. What are you jealous of? When I watch Martha Stewart and she gives her whole audience cool gifts! (Its silly, but I hate them!)

4. What winds you up? Complaining about things that you can't do anything about.

5. What makes you stare? Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers!

1. Do you take walks? If so, where do you like to walk? I walk out of necessity, so wherever I need to go.

2. What does your hair look like today? At the moment, pulled back in a pony tail. I'll fix it up later, for my date tonight.

4. What winds you up? Lots of things, good and bad. But especially people that don't do their job. I can really get going when that happens.

5. What makes you stare? Anything really beautiful...a landscape, a garden, architecture, people.

1. Do you take walks? If so, where do you like to walk? - Yes. My husband and I take evening walks all the time, but only if it's not raining or the winds won't blow you naked. We have a little route that we made up. It's about two miles.

2. What does your hair look like today? - Like it usually does, a mess, lol. Getting longer again.

3. What are you jealous of? - People with excellent health. People who have no allergies, no motion sickness, no asthma, no arthritis.

4. What winds you up? - The California Department of Motor Vehicles.

5. What makes you stare? - The parents of the unsupervised children who come into our store. I just stare at them in disbelief. For some reason, it's just so hard for them to grasp the idea that their child or children are little spawns of satan who need to be watched by THEM. The kids don't like when I have to do their parents job. :077: And really stupid drivers, add them to my staring list, too.

1. Do you take walks? If so, where do you like to walk?-Not really. I walk enough when I go to class. I like walking when there aren't hills or stairs.

Beautiful galla dresses, diamonds and pearls, paintings with lots of colours.

People who have a special grandparent or mother to help with childcare.

I can't think of much. My ex does in a negative way. Beauty and art in a positive way.

Usually when words fail me, I stare...... Or if I study something for a painting idea.

I walk my dogs a couple of times every day. We li,ke to hike the mountains but there's never enough time to do so.

1. Do you take walks? If so, where do you like to walk? Since our 35 miles per hour street is like a speedway, I walk our driveway or the steps in our house.

I walk every day I possibly can and have for years. My neighborhood is perfect for it - lots of hills and canyons.
