My nieces really like her. I suppose she's fairly rated for what this generation is use to listening to. At least she's not the same-o, same-o. I keep hearing her being referred to as "The New Madonna". Is that suppose to be a compliment? :confused:

I'm not particularly a fan, but I'd say she's somewhat innovative compared to the other "artists" out there at the moment. She's definitely not afraid to take risks with her attire and performances. She also writes her own music and makes no apologies for whomever or whatever she is, lol. There are definitely traces of some genuine talent embedded in that crazy, bizarre schtick of hers. I've seen footage of some early, stripped down bar performances of hers in and around NYC and she wasn't half bad...sans the glitz and electronica.

I'd take her over Taylor Swift anyday. I absolutely cannot stand Taylor. The Grammys are such a joke.

I say fairly rated. Her music (what I've heard anyway) is poppy and catchy, so she is okay.

My daughter likes her and I have heard some of her songs that I like. I think she's talented, if a bit of a freak. I'll vote "fairly rated".

Not to change the subject...but....

People keep bashing Taylor Swift, but I have respect for her. She writes her own songs and she can play guitar. She doesn't have bullshit backing tracks like so many people use these days to cover up their horrible singing. She can sing just fine in my opinion, she's just not a "technically perfect" singer. She has character...and live music performances need character...not theatrics and crazy costumes and stunts.

I think she's fairly rated.

I personally like her because she is such a freak and isn't afraid to show it. It takes a lot of courage in my opinion to walk out of the house wearing what she does sometimes. I find her to be talented too.
