These days I relate 'store bought' with those gawdy, dreadful things from the supermarket that consist mainly of sawdust, sugar, and lard. I love, love LOVE white cake with white icing and lots of icing flowers on top, like wedding cakes. Any shape will do, but can Ron Blair pop out of it please? 2. For your friends and loved ones: do you buy a birthday cake or bake one for them? When the kids were growing up I baked, now I'd most likely buy thier favorite someplace. 3.
