Refugee 7 Report post Posted December 8, 2009 The Eagles have unveiled plans for a three-night stand at Southern California's Hollywood Bowl next April, an engagement that will mark the first time the Grammy-winning group has graced that venue's stage. The trio of shows are set to take place April 16, April 17 and April 20, and tickets will hit the box office for the general public on Monday, Dec. 14, according to a press release, though American Express cardmembers can get an early crack at tickets starting next Monday (12/7). Tickets will be available at all Ticketmaster locations, via Ticketmaster charge-by-phone (800.745.3000) or online at Ticketmaster.com. (LiveDaily is an operating unit of Ticketmaster Entertainment, which also owns Ticketmaster.) Additionally, VIP ticket packages will be available via iloveallaccess.com. The Eagles--Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit--continue to back 2007's "Long Road Out of Eden," which, at the time of its release, marked the band's first new studio album in 28 years. The set debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 chart after posting first-week sales of 711,000 copies, and went on to become 2007's top-selling album by a group, according to Nielsen SoundScan. "Long Road Out of Eden" also earned the group Grammy Awards for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for "How Long" in 2008, and Best Pop Instrumental Performance for "I Dreamed There Was No War" in 2009. TOUR DATES April 2010 16, 17, 20 - Los Angeles, CA - Hollywood Bowl
