1. What foods do you associate with this time of year? soups, orange vegetables (squash, pumpkin, carrots, sweet potatoes), apples and oranges.

2. Which of them are your favorites? Your least favorites? Oh, I love everything. I don't eat meat, so Thanksgiving turkey creeps me out. The actual anatomy of the bird, all cut into - I don't particularly like looking at that.

3. What traditional (or nontraditional) holiday foods do you make or buy every year? I bake during the holidays - pies and cookies. My mom cooks all of the other stuff, she's very traditional - cooks the same stuff every year and won' let anyone else help! Literally, she won't even let me peel potatoes to help her out.

4. Are you more likely to overindulge or abstain from seasonal treats? Overindulge, totally.

5. With all of the high-calorie temptations at this time of year, how do you manage your diet? I eat very light for all other meals and snacks - just keep everything else really simple and concentrate on all the fantastic holiday food! Fruit and salads keep me going between treats!

6. Take this quiz - What Season Do You Feel Like? Winter. (That's pretty much right on - I swing between summer and winter state-of-mind!)
