2. At what age should you stop trick-or-treating? - Maybe about 15 or 16. Seeing adults in costumes trick-or-treating sort of creeps me out.

4. Are you more likely to buy a costume or to make it? - I'm more likely to buy it. But sometimes the costumes are a little of both.

Kids don't trick or treat around here any more. I think Halloween has become a lame version of it's former self. It used to be a playful holiday playing up a healthy fear of witches, ghosts, and goblins. Now it plays up an unhealthy fear of strangers, predators, and even suspicion of your neighbors.

Yeah, I had said my husband hands out candy and I do, still, buy so much. But we live in a very rural area and only got 4 kids last year (neighbors). I think the most we have had was six. My sister is in a development and gets so many! Every year, I buy so much candy...and every year I have so much left over......

No, Hallowe'en has never been a big deal for me. When my son was little he used to dress up and I'd dress up the outside of the house with pumpkins and scarecrows and skeletons etc, but not anymore.

Now as adults, for parties, we've done both. Bought and made.
