I have drawn, painted and done stained glass....I think designing a graden is like art as well....the colors you put in and the textures of the plants...

Many. Alot in college....friend's shows and exhibits.. and I still go...

A few paintings Mr. Pettyhead did in college. Of course I have a few masterpieces from our daughters. My oldest daughter came home with an awesome work she did in art class. I have framed it. We call it her "Van Gogh".

I paint mostly. Draw sometimes. What other artistic hobbies/interests do you have? Buried Treasure covers(!) and other computer graphics, I love doing different PShop tutorials and seeing how they turn out with my own material. Wish it were more than a hobby. :085:

Whenever I can. I went to the Richard Avedon Retrospective yesterday because I was in San Diego this weekend. It was wonderful. Since I was there last, they have a touchscreen set up in the gallery with the religious paintings explaining how alterpieces were made and how they and other paintings are restored. Well, I was fascinated. Also I was a little smug when I realized the OS operating in the background was OS X by the look of the cursor on an otherwise fullscreen interactive element.

4. What kinds and styles of art are you drawn to?

Representational, whether its' realism, impresionism, photography, etc. Abstraction usually leaves me cold, and I think 95% of it is 95% bullshit. Which is a shame for the other 5% that is artistically valid.

5. What kind of art do you actually have in your home?

My own paintings mostly. One smal study from my master art teacher, the Glaser poster of Dylan, a couple Japanese prints I wish I knew more about. Some petite point my aunt did.

I have a couple of sculptures I bought in Zambia, made of wook. Besutifully carves from one single piece, polished and made very realistic. I have elephants, warthogs, rhinos, just fantastic.

2. Do you draw, paint, or sculpt? What other artistic hobbies/interests do you have? - No, I don't. Unfortunately, I don't have the patience or talent to paint, draw or sculpt. Anything artistic in my bones is related to music.

3. Do you ever attend art shows or other artistic exhibitions? - At our local Flower Festival every year they have art and crafts exhibits and we always check those out.

4. What kinds and styles of art are you drawn to? - Anything that catches my eye.

2. Do you draw, paint, or sculpt? What other artistic hobbies/interests do you have? I haven't drawn or painted in many years. I knit, crochet, sew, design furniture (which my father builds) decorate, embellish, mend, construct, I'm always doing something crafty.

4. What kinds and styles of art are you drawn to? Lately I love Mucha - flowery Art Deco style stuff.
