Today I Learned...

^Yay! I love my niece. She's 12 now and so much fun!

TIL my coworker wants to print and frame two of my Houston show photos to hang in his house. I wonder if he wants me to sign them, lol. Actually, I'm very honored, he's got some great RnR memorabilia.

TIL my brother and his wife did not pay attention to th invitations. Instead of going to our hometown, they drove where I live now (abou 2 hours away). I mean, between a mailed invitation and the one on facebook (which they are on fb like all the time!) You would think they would have gotten the location right. Then my bro calls me and tells me that I should have called him confirming the location! WTF?

TIL from my son that if you add the year you were born and the age you're going to be this year, no matter who, it ALWAYS adds up to 111. If you were born before the year 2000, then it adds up to 11. Very strange.

Example: I was born in 59 and this year I'll turn 52.

59 + 52= 111

TIL the worst of the upcoming storm will be when I'm supposed to be going to work. I quit. I just f-in' give up. I made it in the last two or three storms, then came home from work and shovelled. Guess the new car is staying in the garage 'til Thursday night. I haven't seen it since Sunday morning.:085:

I can't explain it exactly or give you a formula, but think about this. In 1999, the year you were born added to your age would equal 99. In 1998, the number was 98. Hopefully that makes sense to you. In 2000, the "magic number" number would have been 100. In 2001, the number was 101. In 2012 the number will be 112. So, the first digit of the 111 number represents the difference between the current century and the century you were born. And the last two digits represent the current year. If you had been born in the 1800's, your number would be 211. Those born in the 2000's have a number of 011.

Anyway, I have no idea if that helps to explain why everyone gets the same number.
