I mean, between a mailed invitation and the one on facebook (which they are on fb like all the time!) You would think they would have gotten the location right. LizzieB 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2011 I can't explain it exactly or give you a formula, but think about this. In 1999, the year you were born added to your age would equal 99. In 1998, the number was 98. Hopefully that makes sense to you. In 2000, the "magic number" number would have been 100. In 2001, the number was 101. In 2012 the number will be 112. So, the first digit of the 111 number represents the difference between the current century and the century you were born. And the last two digits represent the current year. If you had been born in the 1800's, your number would be 211. Those born in the 2000's have a number of 011. Anyway, I have no idea if that helps to explain why everyone gets the same number.
