2. How about laundry detergent and fabric softener? Tide is my fav but have been using Arm & Hammer Essentials too

3. Toilet paper? My husband gets it by the case free from work (they make it at SCA Tissue)...

5. Any other brands you swear by? Not really, I have things I prefer like Close-Up toothpaste, Cover Girl make-up but am always open to try different brands.

Quilted Northern, the roll seems to last the longer then any of the others. For instance, the store brand may be a few cents cheaper, but the paper is thinner, looser on the roll, and usually the sheet count is less.

What ticks me off is that a few years ago, and this was waaaay before the recession, they all started making the tube bigger, having fewer sheets per roll, and marketing the rolls themselves as "bigger" than before. They only looked bigger though, there was actually less paper on the roll.

Same deal as cans of coffee years ago.

I'm not particularly brand loyal, about the only brand I really swear by is Apple.

2. How about laundry detergent and fabric softener? - I use to get what was on sale but I'm allergic to some products so I stick to Gain or All with whitening bleach.

2. How about laundry detergent and fabric softener? Whatever is on sale, but it can't be heavily scented.

3. Toilet paper? Scott's.

4. Soda? We really don't drink soda. If we are having a party or some people over, I will only buy Coke/Diet Coke, Sprite/Diet Sprite.

5. Any other brands you swear by? Heinz Ketchup, Keller's Butter, Bounty (Select-A-Size) or Brawny paper towels.

2. How about laundry detergent and fabric softener? - Kirkland brand, it's free of dyes and scents. Downey fabric softener sheets.

3. Toilet paper? - Kirkland brand

4. Soda? - A&W Root Beer, Dr. Pepper and Diet Sierra Mist.

5. Any other brands you swear by? - Kaboom for cleaning. RAM for cleaning. Both work well and I don't have problems in regards to my allergies or asthma.

I'm with Patty - I love Pureology. Luckily, I get it free from the hairdresser in the family. Sometimes I score some Kerastase, too.

I'm choosy about what I use on my skin. Neutrogena and L'Oreal usually.

Trader Joe's brand for packaged foods is always a superior product for less money.

4. Soda? Favorite is Vanilla Coke Zero, but I'm also very into Diet Dr Pepper, Coke Zero and Sprite Zero.

5. Any other brands you swear by? Boca veggie burgers and other faux-meat type products. Boca is delicious! I really am very loyal to Tide detergent - I've had some very unpleasant allergic reactions to others (ALL especially) so I never use anything but Tide or Era.
