What is your favorite genre of book (fiction, self-help, etc...)? I love psychological thrillers and murder mysteries. 3. Do you subscribe to any magazines? Which? Are there any you'd like to subscribe to but haven't? - Not in years. 4. Where do you get your reading materials? Online? Bookstore? Library? - Mostly online at Amazon. But Lately I've been going to the public library and they sell new books that people have donated for like under five bucks. I've gotten some great books. And then I donate them back. My niece turned me onto this. Our library makes a lot of money doing this. And you'd be surprised they usually have everything on the top ten book list. 5. List 5 books you recommend people read: These is off the top of my head... For work, probably 1 manual per month for something stupid. 2. What is your favorite genre of book (fiction, self-help, etc...)? - I love biographies. I love a book that will entertain me. Whether it be funny, dramatic, suspenseful or trashy, just keep my attention. 3. Do you subscribe to any magazines? Which? Are there any you'd like to subscribe to but haven't? - We no longer subscribe to any magazines. I have access to them at my store. 4. Where do you get your reading materials? Online? Bookstore? Library? - At the library. Sometimes I will pick up a paperback from work. 5. List 5 books you recommend people read: - This is hard. 1. Island of the Blue Dolphins 2. The Cat Who Went To Paris 3. What is your favorite genre of book (fiction, self-help, etc...)? It varies - I'm a voracious non-discriminating reader - I'll read almost anything, though I tend towards fiction. 3. Do you subscribe to any magazines? Which? Are there any you'd like to subscribe to but haven't? No, that's what the library and internet are for. I might subscribe to some genealogy magazines but again, they're in the library. 4. Where do you get your reading materials? Online? Bookstore? Library? All of the above, and from friends. 5. List 5 books you recommend people read: This list changes all the time, too, as it really depends on the person. And I think I'd point them to my LibraryThing or GoodReads accounts to see what I've read and any reviews of the books I've posted. 6. Take this quiz - What's Your Learning Style? I read a lot, but lately with school it's been difficult to find time. I consider all reading to be a pleasure, and it helps that I'm a pretty fast reader. 2. What is your favorite genre of book (fiction, self-help, etc...)? Love 'em all, seriously. I read a lot of fiction and I love biographies. 3. Do you subscribe to any magazines? Which? Are there any you'd like to subscribe to but haven't? I subscribe to Time, a couple of massage magazines and Modern Drummer (for my son.) 4. Where do you get your reading materials? Online? Bookstore? Library? I'll hit Barnes and Noble online, the local bookstore in town, and the library when can get over there. I also have friends who like to trade back and forth, so I get books from them, too. 5. List 5 books you recommend people read: The Bean Trees, Diet for a New America, The Stand, Contact, The Education of Little Tree, The Alchemist, The Kite Runner.... yeah, I can't count. 6. Down to one (a gift subscrkption), but not interested in subscribing to anything else. 4. Where do you get your reading materials? Online? Bookstore? Library? Mostly online. If I want to learn something new, I get online. A good thing I can, because our library is abysmal. 5. What is your favorite genre of book (fiction, self-help, etc...)? Series which are written, based on authentic happenings. Recently, I read a book, written from somebody who lives in my town. I could find the author in our phone book afterwards! She had a complicated story to tell. Otherwise, I like comics and something by Stephen King or Dean Koontz. 3. Do you subscribe to any magazines? Which? Are there any you'd like to subscribe to but haven't? No. If I should subscribe to something, it has to be these comics with Beetle and Zero and Sarge. I don't know the English name on that comic. 4. Where do you get your reading materials? Online? Bookstore? Library? I borrow it at the library. 5. List 5 books you recommend people read: Sorry...
