1. Choose one person from your list of friends to switch locations with for one month. Who is the friend, where do they live and why did you choose that location? - I'd change with Nancy because Pennsylvania is so pretty and I can't wait to get back to NYC.

2. Provide two bits of trivia about the town you currently live in

I've only got one - Located in Sacramento, the California State Railroad Museum is the largest museum of its kind in North America.

3. Tom Petty comes to your town for a visit -- what three places do you take him to during his visit? - Oh heck, we have to go to the new casino, next up Old Sacramento and the Sacramento River.

4. Tom Petty hands you a camera, tells you to take four pictures for him. What four pictures will you take to remind him of your town? - I'm awful at taking pictures. Maybe I'd get a picture of Folsom Lake and I love the view of the Sacramento valley when you're coming down from the foothills.

5. Revisit question # 1 - what five places would you like to visit while you are in your switched location? - I loved the Empire State building, Statue of Liberty, Rockerfeller Center, MOMA, and Grand Central Station

I would change places with Barbie, because I want to live in San Diego someday and it would give me an opportunity to do some job hunting

2. Provide two bits of trivia about the town you currently live in - George Washington and his troops camped here at a property now known as Moland House. It's where he met up with Lafayette, and it is supposed to be the first place the Betsy Ross flag was flown.

3. Tom Petty comes to your town for a visit -- what three places do you take him to during his visit? um... OK, I think if Tom Petty came to Jamison to visit, he'd be pretty bored, so I'd take him to NYC or Philadelphia, and maybe into New Hope.

4. Tom Petty hands you a camera, tells you to take four pictures for him. What four pictures will you take to remind him of your town? Moland House, my house (ha) and the Delaware River.

5. Revisit question # 1 - what five places would you like to visit while you are in your switched location? La Jolla, Del Mar, Torrey Pines, Mission Beach, Old Towne... do I have to stop at five?

I have a friend (who prefers to remain anonymous) that lives on Central Park West in NYC. Who wouldn't want to live across the street from Central Park?

I live near the Integratron & Giant Rock, the world's largest freestanding boulder. For those that follow the link, no I won't be at the DidgeriDome Event this weekend. In fact I've never visited the building, it just isn't my sort of thing. I've been to Giant Rock many times. Never seen any extraterrestrials though.

Horseback riding in the open desert out by Giant Rock, to the Buddhist Monastary next door for fabulous home made Thai food and culture shock, and depending on what's happening where, a local venue for a night of music by local musicians.

4. Tom Petty hands you a camera, tells you to take four pictures for him. What four pictures will you take to remind him of your town? A group picture with Goat Mountain and Joshua Trees in the background, the monks and my dog (long story), and 2 random, candid shots.

5. Revisit question # 1 - what five places would you like to visit while you are in your switched location? Picnics and sightseeing in the park, but also I'd like to see the Apple store on 5th Ave, Bleecker Street, the New York Public Library and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Really, it's hard to choose only five, but I was in NYC as a teenager, so I've already been to the Empire State building, Statue of Liberty, etc.

5. Revisit question # 1 - what five places would you like to visit while you are in your switched location? I would like to island hop and visit lots of beaches.

I'd switch with my oldest niece, Joby who lives in Turkey. I've never been to Turkey and I'd like to go.

God, my town is VERY small. Not alot happens here. Mind you, Jim Carrey attended one of our High Schools, the same one my son attended. Oh, and we had a bear up one of the trees in town a couple of weeks ago who had to be tranquilized and moved to a safe haven.

Again, this isn't a bit city, it's a small town. I dunno. Maybe I'd show him where I work (thrilling), take him for a walk in the woods behind the house with my two dogs, maybe to dinner at a local restaurant. Believe me, this aint New York LOL

A photo in the woods with my dogs, a photo on a restaurant patio, photo of him in my bed...photo of him in my shower...

5. Revisit question # 1 - what five places would you like to visit while you are in your switched location?

I know very little of Turkey, but I'd like to go to the ocean, learn to scuba dive (my niece has her own scuba diving operation out there), go to the Turkish F1 Grand Prix, visit an authentic Turkish restaurant, visit Greece (Joby can see the Greek Islands from her house in the distance!)

I think I'll take my penpal in Torpoint, UK. I'll take it as I like to see that area and always have loved visiting England.

A pottery and... Yeah, what excatly? I can't figure.

Our cathedral, our museum and he could see the old part of this town as well. ( Really boring place I live! )

Our cathedral. (They have taken down the spire so it looks kinda funny right now), our park ( really pretty), "Torvet" with many old houses and the main street, I guess...

At first, I have to find out what there is to visit! I'd sure like to see some palms on the Southern Coast and go back to London for a while.

Who is the friend, where do they live and why did you choose that location? - She's not alive any longer, but it would be Anna. She lived in San Francisco. I love the history, the people, the food, and I love the weather.

2. Provide two bits of trivia about the town you currently live in - It has one of the largest diatomaceous earth mines in the world. We also have one of the CA missions located here.

3. Tom Petty comes to your town for a visit -- what three places do you take him to during his visit? - Celite Mining Plant, Vandenberg Air Force Base and La Purisma Concepcion Mission.

What four pictures will you take to remind him of your town? - The Mission, the missile at VAFB, the closed sign at the beach, snowy plovers are nesting till October and the restaurant La Botte, where he can hear Mama Catarina sing, lol.

5. Revisit question # 1 - what five places would you like to visit while you are in your switched location? - Haight & Ashbury, Japanese Deer Garden, Alcatraz, and Muir Woods. Actually, just about anywhere in SF. I just love that city.

1. Choose one person from your list of friends to switch locations with for one month. Who is the friend, where do they live and why did you choose that location? My friend Todd lives in Sweden, I would choose there because I have never been anywhere like it.

2. Provide two bits of trivia about the town you currently live in - It was founded in 1767 and there was a Revolutionary war battle here in 1782. Its about equal distance from Philadelphia and Manhattan.

3. Tom Petty comes to your town for a visit -- what three places do you take him to during his visit? To my parents backyard to hang out on the deck and eat my mom's BBQ food. To the beach to see the Atlantic Ocean. Than probably back to the deck to hang out - its the funnest place in my town.

4. Tom Petty hands you a camera, tells you to take four pictures for him. What four pictures will you take to remind him of your town? Pictures of him with me & my dad, beach pictures, the river.

5. Revisit question # 1 - what five places would you like to visit while you are in your switched location? Kiruna - to stay in the ice hotel and see the Aurora Borealis. Also, see real reindeer and the endless summer days where the sun never sets. I would like to try cross country skiing, and go to Stockholm just to see what its like and see lots of gorgeous Swedish guys.
