Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted June 5, 2009 1. What kind of parties do you like? Big bashes? Small get-togethers? - small get-togethers. 2. Do you play any games (video or not)? Which ones? Are you any good at them? - I play games on the computer Sudoku and texttwist are my faves. 3. What was the best party experience you've ever had? The worst? The best experience was a Christmas party that fell on my birthday. It was perfect. The worst was years ago I went to a birthday party and I was not feeling well. It was a disaster. 4. Do you feel snacks are an important part of a party? What do you like to munch on? - I think it's a good idea to have snacks. I just like something crunchy and salty. 5. Have you ever thrown a wild party while your parents were out of town? What happened? - No, but we threw one while my dad was home asleep. His room was at the back of the house and I think he had probably taken something to sleep. He told us we could have a few friends over and play some music but it got out of hand. I'm sure there was close to 100 people in our house at some point. We had to have a few guys we knew restore order in the house. My dad didn't hear a thing and the only damage was a broken TV antenna.
Starfish 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2009 1. What kind of parties do you like? Big bashes? Small get-togethers? I'm more comfortable at smaller gatherings, but I've had fun at some big parties. Guess I prefer smaller parties, though. 2. Do you play any games (video or not)? Which ones? Are you any good at them? I love board games and and card games - yes, I'm good at them. Not so good at video games any more, kinda gave that up when Super Nintendo became obsolete. 3. What was the best party experience you've ever had? The worst? Oh geez, I have no idea how to answer this one - I've had fun at a lot of parties. The worst is easy, if we can count wedding receptions as parties, and I'd rather not share the story here. 4. Do you feel snacks are an important part of a party? What do you like to munch on? Snacks are very important, especially if alcohol is being served at the party. You know me, I'll eat anything as long as it is vegetarian. Chocolate is always good! 5. Have you ever thrown a wild party while your parents were out of town? What happened? Nope, I'm kinda boring. Pawie 6 Report post Posted June 5, 2009 (edited) 1. What kind of parties do you like? Big bashes? Small get-togethers? If I am in the mood it doesn't matter if it's a big or small bash. It all depends on who's there and the cause. 2. Do you play any games (video or not)? Which ones? Are you any good at them? I played super Mario once when my son was little I think it was 1993, and Guitar Hero once last year, so I am not very good at them. 3. What was the best party experience you've ever had? The worst? The best was back in Sweden in the 70ies. We were a group of friends who stuck together in thick and thin. Our parties were always great and one was outstanding. The worst...I don't remember really THE worst, but sadly enough I don't remember my wedding beinga great one...and see how that went. 4. Do you feel snacks are an important part of a party? What do you like to munch on? No not really. The music is important and the people. Veggie dip and Sour Cream onion chips is always right. 5. Have you ever thrown a wild party while your parents were out of town? What happened? Once... A rock band came to town and we became friends, We went to my house and partied and everyone spent the night. I had to go to work the next morning. The place was a mess, everyone was asleep and I was worried sick my brother would show up. So I faked gastroenteritis and went home to clean after they all left. No one ever found out.. NOT a tip for our younger members ;-) Edited June 5, 2009 by Pawie typos
Magnolia 171 Report post Posted June 5, 2009 1. What kind of parties do you like? Big bashes? Small get-togethers? I like most all parties. As long as there's good music and good people. 2. Do you play any games (video or not)? Which ones? Are you any good at them? Do you mean party games like the "Limbo" and whatnot? Those are fun. Board games I like are Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, things like that. Whether I'm good at them or not depends upon who I'm playing! 3. What was the best party experience you've ever had? The worst? One of my favorite parties is a bonfire for a good friend's 50th birthday. ; ) Can't think of a "worst" experience! 4. Do you feel snacks are an important part of a party? What do you like to munch on? Gotta have snacks! Favorites would be chips & salsa, nuts, and M&Ms. Oh, and brownies, naturally! 5. Have you ever thrown a wild party while your parents were out of town? What happened? No, but my kids did. They still deny it. angelic_22 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2009 1. What kind of parties do you like? Big bashes? Small get-togethers? All kinds. Depends on my mood. 2. Do you play any games (video or not)? Which ones? Are you any good at them? I am a Jedi Master in X-Wing vs Tie Fighter (bowing proudly) Been a long time though. Athena hates the Star Wars soundtrack now. (It would play in the background during the game unless shut off) 3. What was the best party experience you've ever had? The worst? Best was when Athena walked into my life. Cant think of the worst at the moment. 4. Do you feel snacks are an important part of a party? What do you like to munch on? Snacks are good. Chips, dip, Tamales, whatever... 5. Have you ever thrown a wild party while your parents were out of town? What happened? Well, it wasn't really wild but yes - and I carefully cleaned the place afterward. In fact I cleaned so well that my Dad knew something was up. I learned an important lesson: When throwing unapproved parties at your parents house, don't toss the empties in your own trash cans. LOL! wild1forever 152 Report post Posted June 5, 2009 1. What kind of parties do you like? Big bashes? Small get-togethers? I tend to prefer smaller get-togethers, but either is OK depending on who's there. 2. Do you play any games (video or not)? Which ones? Are you any good at them? I don't do video games, but am rather good at Trivial Pursuit. 3. What was the best party experience you've ever had? The worst? Our wedding reception was an absolute blast. On the other hand, I remember a couple of truly awful wedding receptions I've attended. 4. Do you feel snacks are an important part of a party? What do you like to munch on? I don't think they're important, but are always nice to have. 5. Have you ever thrown a wild party while your parents were out of town? What happened? My sister threw quite a wild party at age 17, and I am always baffled as to how she thought our parents would never find out. I didn't throw a party as such while my parents were gone, but I did have a night out with my senior year crush which did NOT end well--I let him drive my car and he wrecked it. At least we got to see Jerry Reuss pitch a no-hitter for the Dodgers that night, lol.

Refugee 7 Report post Posted June 5, 2009 1. What kind of parties do you like? Big bashes? Small get-togethers? - Back in the day, I LOVED big parties, but nowadays, small get-togethers with friends is enough for me. 2. Do you play any games (video or not)? Which ones? Are you any good at them? - Back in the day, it was drinking games - quarters and caps. Nowadays, we play Uno, Balderdash, Wii games, etc... 3. What was the best party experience you've ever had? The worst? - I've had a lot of party experiences that were just a blast. I won't go into detail with the worst. 4. Do you feel snacks are an important part of a party? What do you like to munch on? - Yes, munchies are very important. Chips and dips always hit the spot. For other parties, lots of pizza or wings. 5. Have you ever thrown a wild party while your parents were out of town? What happened? - Oh yes. It got really out of hand. People stole food out of the freezer, stole liquor from my dad's mini bar, ran up long distance phone calls on the phone, trashed the house, it was insane. Glad I had two really good friends who stayed the night with me and helped me get the house in spic n span shape before my parents came home.
DCAHNM 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2009 1. What kind of parties do you like? Big bashes? Small get-togethers? Kinda in-between.... 2. Do you play any games (video or not)? Which ones? Are you any good at them? Not really... I used to be good at Mortal Kombat (provided I was Noob or Sub-Zero)... I love games like Balderdash and Taboo. Haven't played them in years.. 3. What was the best party experience you've ever had? The worst? When I was 18 or so, my boyfriend's band playing at their bass player's (who was only 17 at the time) house (his folks were out of town)...Great time! I can't think of the worst one right off hand, but I did learn a lesson from that party: If you throw a big party while your parents are out of town, clean up after the party, but don't clean TOO WELL! <--that's how the dude got in trouble. 4. Do you feel snacks are an important part of a party? What do you like to munch on? It's nice to have some crackers and chips on hand... 5. Have you ever thrown a wild party while your parents were out of town? What happened? Not really... just a couple of friends and I did a little drinking
Square One 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2009 1. What kind of parties do you like? Big bashes? Small get-togethers? I like both... 2. Do you play any games (video or not)? Which ones? Are you any good at them? Not really...we brought out that game Battle of the Sexes one recent small get together or someone will turn on the Wii...but a lot of it is just hanging out, talking, laughing, eating, drinking, playing good music, etc. 3. What was the best party experience you've ever had? The worst? When we first moved into our house, we had a luau for our older son's 1st birthday and invited all of our close friends and their kids - it turned to be quite the bash - lol - and lasted much, much, much longer than a 1 year old's party should...but it was fun having everyone there. 4. Do you feel snacks are an important part of a party? What do you like to munch on? I go overboard - we have snacks and then some!....lots of food, drinks, etc. I try to make it special somehow every time. 5. Have you ever thrown a wild party while your parents were out of town? What happened? oh yes. Senior year. Almost the entire class ditched school and came over to my house. My parents were out of town and it lasted all day and into the night. At some point the cops were called but a kid's dad in my class was a cop so he (the kid) talked them into leaving somehow. The next morning there was the pizza slices floating on the turntable, beer bottles everywhere and a hole in the wall that my brother punched because he was so mad at me. To make it worse, it was the night before SAT's, so everybody was pretty out of it taking the test. It got voted "best H.S. party" at our reunion.... lol! Softanimal 7 Report post Posted June 5, 2009 I am sorry I don't copy and paste, but my computer is strange again today... 1. I prefer small ones where I know somebody. I have to get a little drunk before I have the guts to talk to strangers. 2. Games? 500. Some puzzles on the computer. There is one which is called "Bookworm" and I used to play that a lot. 3. I don't know. I think most of the parties, I have joined were somewhat the same. Just some people hanging around and drinking, talking... Kind of boring. 4. Perhaps sometimes. It depends. We usually drink without anything to munch on. Otherwise, there is always chocolate in my bag. That's worth eating! 5. No. But I remember last school day. Some got so drunk, the played tennis with meat balls.

Square One 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2009 Oh my god, you're right!!! LMAO - that is too funny! I swear, I remember a piece of pizza sitting on the turntable - I had put it in front of the fireplace (without a fire, of course) and I remember looking at it and feeling like I was gonna get so "busted" and what did my friends do (?!%!) lol - it was just part of the place being a such an overall mess. Unless somehow I transposed Sixteen Candles into my memories.... lol!
