angelic_22 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2009 I cant wait to see how Ticketmaster screws up this sale too. First it was directing people instantly to jacked up tickets at their Ticketsnow site, then it was selling non-existent tickets..... I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Ticketmaster is going to REALLY try to do this one right, but they just seemed cursed.... Good luck Bruce fans. I feel for you. Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted May 29, 2009 Wow! This is going to be huge! I don't see anything good coming from this one. I'm sure I'll be up early Monday morning helping out friends.
WildflowerNJ 136 Report post Posted May 29, 2009 They are already having problems here in NJ with brokers selling tickets before they are even printed! I have to take Smokey to the Vet for a 10:30 appointment but I could help with tickets, too....
Nylle 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2009 This is one Bruce fan who won't be needing help - I have no interest in going to these shows. Stadium shows used to have a 300-person pit and seats on the sides and behind the pit - an all GA field is going to be a ZOO. I have to say I am getting fed up with Bruce Inc. We all know there will be a second US leg to this tour but they only announce the Giant Stadium gigs. This way, fans will panic and the shows will sell out in 20 minutes. Then a month from now they'll announce the rest of the leg - sheds, arenas, maybe more stadiums but definietly better venues. Fans who missed out during the ticket sales will get discounted tickets in the parking lot the day of the shows. There is no reason for anyone to buy a bad ticket to a Springsteen show - ever. 90% of the time there are drops of the friends & family tickets the day before or day of the show. I personally hope Bruce does a solo tour next. Between the GA crap, ticket sales and the pandering to kids (call me an old fart but I like my Bruce without little children, thank you) it's starting to lose some of its appeal for me. Hopefully this is a phase that will pass LOL.
Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted May 29, 2009 ^ Gee Ellyn, tell us how you really feel, LOL. From one old fart to another, I think I know what you mean. It's just getting out of hand. I would love to see Bruce on a solo tour.

Starfish 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2009 LOL at the old farts... and I won't be looking for tickets to this one, either. I saw Bruce in Giants Stadium during the Born in the USA tour... and that was enough. Luckily the field was not GA at that particular show, and I had fantastic 10th row seats that were not purchased through a broker. We stood on our seats all night and had an absolutely wonderful time. I'll stick with that memory, thanks.
