Refugee 7 Report post Posted May 17, 2009 1. Bullies, preps, stoners, geeks, jocks, drama queens, and more roamed the halls. Where do/did you fit in? Does/Did your clique have a name? - I hung out with all sorts of people. The loadies, the smarties, band fags, drama group and the socies. Just depended on my mood and what was going on that day. I didn't have a certain clique in high school, but...I could be found more across the street having a smoke than anywhere else. 2. Do/Did you prefer a hot lunch or cold lunch? - I hardly ever ate lunch at school, if I did, it would be cold. 3. What do/did you wear to school? What extra-curricular activities do/did you participate in? - I was on the varsity tennis team and the drama club. 5. Who are/were your best friends? weird monkey 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2009 1. Bullies, preps, stoners, geeks, jocks, drama queens, and more roamed the halls. Where do/did you fit in? Does/Did your clique have a name? There were really only 3 kinds of kids in my small town: 'soacials', stoners and a few misfits - misfits being people who just couldn't fit in, but didn't even rate enough attention to be scorned. [me[misfit[/me] 2. Do/Did you prefer a hot lunch or cold lunch? If a hot lunch meant sitting at at table with a bunch of back bitin' barracudas, then count me out. 3. What do/did you wear to school? (Go ahead, date yourself here) Blue. Blue jeans were almost de riguer, but I was dismayed my sophomore year to open my closet on day and realize that nearly every article of clothing I had was some shade of blue. When you're 16, that can be quite mortifying. Then I went punk. Looking back though, I wasn't even very successful at that. 4. What extra-curricular activities do/did you participate in? Theater/stagecraft. My school didn't offer much else besides basic sports (there was always a ball involved), and activities that revolved around the glorification of sports - band, pep club, crap like that. 5. Who are/were your best friends? Do you still talk to any of them? I had a few, but no, once I left home, that was it. 6. Take this quiz - What Hairstyle Are You? You Are a Ponytail You are energetic, laid back, and a lot of fun. You are ready for whatever life throws at you. Your idea of style is looking presentable. I had lots of friends in high school. I had friends in every crowd listed except, as Sharon said, the bullies. 2. Do/Did you prefer a hot lunch or cold lunch? I like everything hot. LOL 3. What do/did you wear to school? (Go ahead, date yourself here) We weren't allowed to wear pants at my school. I wore dresses. Very short dresses. 4. What extra-curricular activities do/did you participate in? Swim team, track and field, Lettergirl, band, student government, I was in lots of stuff. Oh, and boys. LOL 5. Who are/were your best friends? Do you still talk to any of them? I had lots of friends, many of whom I'm still friends with. I know most people hate/hated high school, but I actually liked it. Probably because I never studied. LOL 6. Take this quiz - What Hairstyle Are You? Pigtails: You are fun loving, sweet, and cute. You radiate happiness and pure joy. jawallac 48 Report post Posted May 17, 2009 1. I don't think I "fit" into any group. 2. I don't care, just interested in getting something to eat. Generally speaking, warm lunch in the winter, cool in the summer. 3. Oh my goodness, I was a fashionista...or as fashion forward as I could get in rural Michigan in the 70s with nothing but TV and Seventeen Magazine to inform me. One of my favorite outfits was blue jean gauchos, red wool sweater, worn with either knee high brown leather boots OR rainbow-colored leg warmers. People pointed at the leg warmers and routinely asked me if I'd forgotten to take my pj's off before coming to school. Then there were the bright pink tiny corduroy hip hugging elephant bell pants and dressing in full Bay City Roller-ish regalia. 4. Majorette for two years (yes, I have my baton and can still twirl; you never forget!,) band, pom pon for two years, junior & senior plays... 5. Best friends? I didn't have any. In fact, my mom commented about that not too long ago. She said, "Your sister always had one friend she told everything to - you never had anyone like that." And yes, I'm still like that. I have friends, but no one I would tell EVERYTHING to. 6. Mohawk.
