Alt-rock supergroup The Dead Weather has lined up a run of summer tour dates behind the band's forthcoming debut album, "Horehound."

The foursome--which features Allison Mosshart of The Kills on lead vocals, White Stripes frontman Jack White on drums and vocals, Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Dean Fertita on guitar and Jack Lawrence of The Raconteurs and The Greenhornes on bass--kicks off the outing June 11 in Louisville, KY, then heads across the Atlantic for a shows in London and Paris.

Upon returning to this side of the pond, the group launches into a busy summer trek July 13 and 14 in Washington, DC. The band will roll through 20 cities in July and August, and has also scheduled an appearance at the Oct. 2-4 Austin City Limits Festival in Austin, TX.

Details are shown below.

"Horehound," the fledgling band's debut release, is due in stores July 13.

The first single from the set, "Hang You From The Heavens," as well as the b-side's Gary Numan cover, "Are Friends Electric?” are both currently available through iTunes.

The band's formation was announced in March during the opening of the new headquarters for White's Third Man Records label in Nashville.

The group also performed in public for the first time at the event.

We are hoping to see them at the Glass House on the 27th.

Semi-related trivia: Athena and I were returning from Largo last night and turned on XM radio - we heard 'The Oak Ridge Boys' doing 'Seven Nation Army'. That was different!
