1. What was the first concert you ever attended? How old were you? Where was it? - My first "real" concert was The Grateful Dead and The Who. I was 15 years old. A Day on the Green at Oakland Coliseum/Stadium.

2. What was the most recent concert you attended? Where and when? - The Benefit for Mike Canipe at Joe's Joint, February 6, 2009. It really wasn't a "concert", but close enough.

3. Have you ever seen your favorite artist/band in concert? Did the show live up to your expectations or were you disappointed? - Yes, many times. Most times the bands lived up to my expectations.

4. Ever been to a concert where you were pleasantly surprised at the performance? Ever been to a concert where you were totally disappointed? Name 'em! - Yes, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band blew me away! So did Billy Squier back in the day. As for being disappointed, that honor goes to Van Halen in the early 80s. Only concert I have ever walked out on. The Cars come a very close second.

5. Name five bands that would headline your own personal festival. (Along the lines of Oz Fest or Lollapalooza) - TP&TH, John Fogerty, Foo Fighters, Coldplay and Romeo Delta.

1. What was the first concert you ever attended? How old were you? Where was it? Tommy James (minus the Shondells) performed in our little town when I was a kid. He was very late and drunk. I felt sorry for him.

2. What was the most recent concert you attended? Where and when? TPATH in Minneapolis in '08.

3. Have you ever seen your favorite artist/band in concert? Did the show live up to your expectations or were you disappointed? I've seen TPATH in concert nine times. 4. Ever been to a concert where you were pleasantly surprised at the performance? Ever been to a concert where you were totally disappointed? Name 'em! I wasn't sure what to expect when I saw Arlo Guthrie in concert, but I really enjoyed the show. His family performed too, and it was fun.

Again, Tommy James disappointed big-time.

1. What was the first concert you ever attended? How old were you? Where was it? The Kinks at the Forum (L.A.) in 1981 - I was 13.

2. What was the most recent concert you attended? Where and when? I guess the Dirty Knobs at Mill Creek in Mentone - would that qualify as a concert? Was a good one. :)

3. Have you ever seen your favorite artist/band in concert? Did the show live up to your expectations or were you disappointed? TPATH many times, always great!! As far as disappointed:

I was going to Hawaii a couple of years ago and decided to see U2 at Aloha Stadium for their last show of the tour. The plane ride over was fun, there were all these people on it going to the show. A lot of anticipation. I was going to the show with a Hawaiian friend of mine who I used to work many moons ago and we were both really looking forward to it because we had seen them at Long Beach arena about 20 years ago and the show was awesome. Well, Aloha Stadium is HUGE and even though I got what I thought were good seats, I couldn't see that well and really wasn't that into it. I was disappointed - the show was so-so. Sometimes I really can't stand the huge arena shows. I will say the U2 3-D movie in the theaters blew this live show away. The upside was that I sat next to a couple that coincidentally lived right down the street from me here in L.A. and now we've been friends ever since.

4. Ever been to a concert where you were pleasantly surprised at the performance? Ever been to a concert where you were totally disappointed? Name 'em! Yes! Growing up, my best friend's favorite band was the Boomtown Rats and mine was TPATH. So...a couple of years ago we went to see Bob Geldof at the House of Blues. There was NO ONE there, it was practically empty and I didn't know what to expect but he was amazing. I really was surprised - It was so unexpected and one of the better shows I've been to in a long time.

5. Name five bands that would headline your own personal festival. (Along the lines of Oz Fest or Lollapalooza) ah....Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Mudcrutch, Dirty Knobs - lol - and then I'd throw in two of my friend's bands just to mix it up and make it my own little party.

1. What was the first concert you ever attended? How old were you? Where was it? My first concert was Paul Revere and the Raiders on the Where The Action Is Tour. I think I was 13, and it was at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC.

2. What was the most recent concert you attended? Where and when?

The last concert I atteneded was Robert Plant and Alison Krauss on June 2, 2008, in Roanoke, VA.

3. Have you ever seen your favorite artist/band in concert? Did the show live up to your expectations or were you disappointed? Yes I have seen my fav band, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, 7 times and my favorite artist, Robert Plant, two times. Both have lived up to my expectations and beyond--awesome, enjoyable shows.

4. Ever been to a concert where you were pleasantly surprised at the performance? Ever been to a concert where you were totally disappointed? Name 'em! I was surprised when I saw Journey with Def Leppard. I didn't think I would enjoy Journey without Steve Perry, but they did a good job. I was totally disappointed at a Dwight Yoakam concert when he was a hour and a half late and it appeared it was such a chore for him to perform at the concert. I still like his music, but I don't know if I will ever go to the trouble of making the effort and expense of attending another one of his concerts.
