Patty Petty 9 Report post Posted April 7, 2008 I confess that I use to write letters to Tom Petty all the time when I was younger.. today, while at our parents' house, I was going through stuff (there's so much STUFF! Ugh!)... and I found a letter to Tom from 1983 that I started, but stopped... got sidetracked I guess, lol. Talk about laughing. We got a good laugh over that. I also found a binder from freshman year with things like Tom+Patty 4ever, Tom Petty is a fox!, I love Tom! written all over it. Oh the shame! Whenever I wrote to him, I adorned the envelope with all kinds of art.. and sprayed them with perfume, LMAO... in thinking that they would stand out and would surely get opened by SOMEONE.. and they of course would pass it along to Tom.
