I confess it made me so mad to see a friend of mine post on Facebook about wanting to get this dachshund puppy for her girls.

Let me explain.

Her girls are 7 and 4. They're HORRIBLE. Last year, on their way home from the shore, they stopped to see me for a bit. We hadn't seen each other in a few years. Her girls were the most evil, misbehaved children I have EVER met! They tore around the house, so destructive. Sue and her husband sat there saying, "Stop it," "Don't do that," etc etc.. I was mortified. The dogs were mortified. Sage had her cone on all the time then, so she wouldn't try and chew the bandages off her leg. The one little girl, (I forget which one), kicked Sage. Not hard. But still! A little kick. I had to say something. Not Sue, not her husband. Then the oldest girl kept going over to the bird cage and started twisting the screw thing to one of their mirrors. The mirror crashed down in the cage. The birds went nuts. Again, Sue and her husband did nothing. I had to race over there and make sure all was ok (thank God the mirror didn't break or anything), but I had to reprimand the kid and tell her to please leave the birds alone. She was scaring them.

AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHH! I'm sorry! I just had to vent all that! No way in HELL should they have a puppy or ANY animal for that fact.

^ That just makes my stomach turn. I can't stand when children run the house instead of the parents!!!!!!!!!! :095:

I confess, I feel bad for my fellow supervisor, but I am so happy it's not me working today or tomorrow.

I swear some people should just turn in their parent badges. Nothing drives me nuts more than parents that just sit there, see their bad ass kids terrorizing and won't do a damn thing about it. WTF??? Then the minute you say something, they're all offended. ARgghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Don't get me started on this subject...

Linda, I'm sorry to hear that.

Oh Sharon, that's the kicker. LOL! When I spoke to her on the phone, before they came up, she was telling me roughly what time to expect them. She said something about stopping at her brother's house briefly on their way. Then she said, "I don't really want to go there." I asked her why. She said, "Because, Brenda (his wife) screams at my kids." WELL, MOW I KNOW WHY! LOL!

I mean, it isn't funny, but seriously? Come on!

(((Emmie))) My mom coped by buying a dog. lol

(((Ref)))

Those kids wouldn't last a day at my house. God forbid I EVER did something like that when I was little. I would never see the light of day. You really should have to have a license to have kids. And some people just should not be allowed to breed.

Oh, Patty, that's awful...I hope they don't get a puppy either, they'll hurt the poor baby!!!!!

My confession: I didn't get anything done today cuz I only got 3 hours sleep and didn't take my daily nap...lol. Dad always told me "Don't put things off to do tomorrow when ya can do them today" ...well, today was an exception..LOL....hopefully I'll get a good nite's sleep tonight and get alot done tomorrow :):)

Like I always say at work, there should be a day every month when you can round up every dumbass parent and slap them. Of course, there aren't enough hours in the day for all of them, but still...

I confess I have no interest in the other bbs that will be replacing the old one.

Same here.

I confess that the waning days of the old Official board has become increasingly nauseating....with people repeateding dragging up old threads using the customary period . and posting only Tom Petty quotes in the quote thread. If no one has anything to say, then I wish they would just shut that board down.
