Katie 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2009 Nope - the bars in Spain have pretty much made me apathetic in this area. You can't really complain until you've not been able to see someone across the table from you due to the haze.... Yuck!

Softanimal 7 Report post Posted February 14, 2009 It's a factor. I can be around smoking people for a while... Then I have to go out in the fresh air, otherwise I get sick!

Refugee 7 Report post Posted February 14, 2009 If you live out here in CA, you are spoiled by the no smoking laws. I LOVE it! I have really bad asthma, so yeah, I consider it greatly. Made the mistake of tolerating it twice at Vinny's, and although I love the Knobs, don't think I will do that again, both times I ended up with bronchitis. I think it's very rude and inconsiderate to smoke when you are around others that can't tolerate it or have health problems.
The Wild One, Forever 2 Report post Posted February 14, 2009 Well not that I go to bars, but if I did, I would greatly consider it, because like Ref, I have bad asthma, and I can't tolerate much smoke.

Square One 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2009 I don't go to bars that much either unless it's to see a band and so it's not really an issue here in CA - but otherwise, not sure that I would hang out that long if I was in one where there was a lot of smoke

Beamish 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2009 (edited) No, because I rarely go to bars anyway. However, if I did and wasn't in L.A., I wouldn't be able to go in due to respiratory issues. Edited February 15, 2009 by Beamish
