Ladywiz 4 Report post Posted February 2, 2009 Interviewing authors isn't much fun. They try to direct the interview to what they want written instead of letting you have your own take on it! So I'll pass.

angelic_22 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2009 (edited) Philip K Dick (although he has passed on now). He used to live in the house next door to ours in Fullerton, but not while we lived there. Philip is second only to Stephen King in having the largest number of his writings turned into screen plays and movies, including Blade Runner and Minority Report. I read an interview of him in Rolling Stone that occurred in the house next door - he was a character for sure! A brilliant but very strange character whose vision of the future was dark, scary and in too many ways accurate. I was watching my neighbor's house while they were away and the BBC came by doing a documentary on the author. So between the Rolling Stone article that had interior photos and mentioned the general area, and the BBC's visit, I consider the location confirmed - although I always believed my neighbor when he told me the story. And if you have BluRay, and have not seen the director's cut of Blade Runner - see it! It is by far the most spectacular movie I have ever seen on BluRay. And that is just from a cinematic and audio perspective. The story and acting are, well, out of this world! Edited February 2, 2009 by Relic
