U2 rocker The Edge has credited Led Zeppelin legend Jimmy Page and Jack White with influencing the band's new album No Line on the Horizon.

The guitarist spent time with the pair for 2008 documentary It Might Get Loud, which looked at the different perspectives of the three musicians.

And the rocker admits he was blown away by Page and White's talents - citing them as inspirations for the sound of U2's twelfth LP.

He tells Rolling Stone, "I was just fascinated with seeing how Jimmy played those riffs so simply, and with Jack as well."
