pettyfreak94 1 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 Yes, as in romance movies and dramas. But never for a scary movie. Those are horrible!!

Dynabeat Tim 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 Sometimes you identify so much with the character or situation it makes you reflect on your own life, and the people you've met and lost, and thats when I cry. The saddest movie for me is "It's a wonderful life".

DCAHNM 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 I try to avoid them.. I end up crying even at comedies. Example: I cried like a baby at that Adam Sandler movie, "Click"... I have no idea why. I absolutely refuse to watch "Bambi." "Savannah Smiles" just tore my nerves up the last time I watched it. Oh yeah, and it didn't help when my husband's sound effects (gun shots) when the guys were bringing Savannah back to her mom...

Refugee 7 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 I love a good tear jerker. My motto, if I cry during the movie, it's a good movie, lol.
Athena 7 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 (edited) Love 'em. Thinking about it, the ones with someone who dies seem to be my favorite. Steel Magnolias, Stepmom, Fried Green Tomatoes, and Terms of Endearment all come to mind. Softanimal 7 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 Hm... Mostly watch horror or comedy, so I don't cry. Have just watched " Pet Sematary " this evening. That one, and a dvd with TPATH, both bought in London. Not to be had for love or money in DK.
wild1forever 152 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 Sure, every once in a while. Steel Magnolias, Stepmom, Fried Green Tomatoes, and Terms of Endearment all come to mind. Before I was a mom, I thought Terms of Endearment was just too corny. Since I became a mom, though, that movie makes me cry like a baby no matter how many times I watch it.
