I thought McCain won by a bit - not a landslide but overall. In several areas there was simply no comparison, while for others (like the inital economy questions) they were both a bit meek and neither said much of substance.

We really enjoyed flipping through the diff. pundits later and seeing how they all viewed it through their own lenses. That's why I really like the debates - it's just you and the candidates. I feel sorry for those who miss it and just rely on the news cycle interpretation because it is SO varied.

Obama, by a landslide. McCain has no answers, only anecdotes.

am I biased? absolutely. but McCain is a loose cannon, and he's dangerous. I'd honestly rather have four more years of Bush-Cheney than one minute of McCain-Palin. and that is pretty fucking scary.

lol cuz, i think obama did better than mccain, but i don't care for either of them. this election has been taking up years, so why don't we just extend it a couple more years and see if we can find someone that might be able to do the job?????

I like your idea, Nurk.

Didn't bother watching it, I hate the debates. I especially hate that stupid split screen they use now. Besides, nothing either of them can say would change the way I'm voting. I just want this election over so the country can move on.

I cannot WAIT until the Palin-Biden debate, just for the sheer entertainment value.

If her recent interviews are any indication of her debating skills, this is gonna be cringe-inducingly funny. Which is good, because it's on during The Office, and I wouldn't miss that for just anything :).

Also, Biden's got a bit of a foot-in-mouth thing going for him (Franklin Roosevelt got on TV to address the nation during the 1929 stock market crash? Really??), so it all adds to the mix!
