Refugee 7 Report post Posted July 21, 2008 Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash has staged his most bizarre collaboration yet - teaming up on stage with former Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie. The legendary axeman joined the pop star at her show in Costa Mesa, California on Friday to perform a host of rock anthems including his former band Guns N' Roses' hit "Sweet Child O' Mine." When welcoming him on stage, Fergie paid tribute to her hero - introducing him to some of her younger fans, according to Blabbermouth.net. She told the crowd, "Some of you little ones may know him from (video game) Guitar Hero, but I know him from a band called Velvet Revolver and a band called Guns N' f***ing Roses!" I was there seeing The Wallflowers on Friday. Unless she performed two nights in a row at different places in the same city. I doubt it.
