Refugee 7 Report post Posted June 22, 2008 Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have added two more US concerts to their summer tour itinerary. The group, which is currently rocking Europe, has announced new gigs at Pennsylvania's Hershey Stadium Aug. 19 and Nashville's Sommet Center Aug. 21. Those dates follow a three-night homecoming gig at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, and a performance at Foxboro, MA's Gillette Stadium. The Boss and company have also been tapped to play the Aug. 30 Harley-Davidson anniversary party in Milwaukee. Saturday (6/21) on-sales are set for the Hershey, PA, gig, and on-sales get underway June 28 for the Nashville show. US shows are listed below and those overseas can be found at Springsteen's website, which also includes video highlights from the tour. Fans can also continue to hear music, interviews and news about the band on "E Street Radio," the commercial-free Springsteen channel on Sirius Satellite Radio. The network recently extended the channel's limited run for a second time due to fan demand, according to a press release. "E Street Radio" is now expected to air through mid-2009. Springsteen and the E Street Band made a triumphant return to the road last year to support their platinum-selling October release, "Magic," which marked their first new studio effort since 2002's Grammy-winning "The Rising." In February, the group added to its Grammy collection, taking home Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance and Best Rock Song honors for the single "Radio Nowhere." guitarstudent 8 Report post Posted June 23, 2008 Yeah, I would've considered either Philly or the Giant Center in Hershey, but no way would I go to the stadium at Hershey... lousy sound, among other problems..
Nylle 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2008 Hershey. pffft He should be coming back to Philadelphia! whine whine whine I've been offered a GA ticket for Hershey that I'm probably going to pass on. I've heard 5700 tickets for GA were sold - sounds like a mob scene to me! Hoping for a decent shot at Richmond tickets instead.
