Question of the Day - 06/15/08

Recommended Posts

I actually did cry when I got pulled over once, but they were real tears. My mom was a passenger in the car, and was just frustrating the hell out of me (this was shortly before we had to put her in a nursing home). The cop was so kind; I still remember how nice he was and how he talked with me about how to get help for my mom.

I couldn't fake cry, but I did get the shakes once. My son was a toddler at the time, and was in his carseat in the back. He asked, "Mommy why does that man have a gun?"

I only got a warning - I think the officer was afraid of upsetting my son.

I know, I know - I shouldn't have been speeding with my son in the car! :018:
