Refugee 7 Report post Posted June 9, 2008 Rockers Collective Soul and Live and teaming up once again for a summer tour, and they've added Blues Traveler to the mix. The bands will co-headline the US trek, which kicks off July 4 at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheater near Denver. From there, they'll make their way from the West Coast to the East Coast, wrapping Aug. 17 on Collective Soul's home turf of Atlanta. The itinerary is listed below. Collective Soul has been out supporting its seventh studio album, "Afterwords," which surfaced in August on its own El Music Group label and is available exclusively at Target and iTunes. The set features the singles "Hollywood" and "All That I Know," both of which are streaming at the band's MySpace page. The rockers, who logged seven No. 1 singles in the '90s, also have some headline and festival shows in and around the co-headline jaunt. Those dates can be found at Collective Soul's website. Last fall, Live offered up "Radiant Sea" on its own Action Front Records label. The album includes 10 live tracks and two new songs, and is being sold at shows and through Live's website. The group, which has sold 20 million records and retains its original lineup after 20 years, also has a run of European dates on its calendar. Those shows can be found at the band's website. Blues Traveler continues to support last year's "Cover Yourself," which is a mostly acoustic affair featuring new takes on the group's old songs. The Grammy-winning blues-rockers are also said to be working on a new studio album. In the meantime, they've got their own set of dates this month on the East Coast. Details are available at their website. [Note: The following tour dates have been provided by artist and/or tour sources, who verify its accuracy as of the publication time of this story. wild1forever 152 Report post Posted June 10, 2008 ^ He certainly is! I had the pleasure of seeing him do a solo acoustic show a couple of months ago; I still smile when I remember that day. ^^GO, Sharon! I would definitely see them if they were coming to these parts.
