May is cold, windy and rainy, until about the third week when the sun suddenly appears for one and a half weeks. Then there is what the English

refer to as a 'heatwave' and we take our jumpers off.We also all fling ourselves outside and lie on the grass and complain about the heat if it goes above 20c

The perfect question for me, just returned from a trip to the Caribbean I wear hats and loads of sunscreen and sit in the shade whenever possible, but I still end up a bit tan every summer. Drives me crazy. I'm doing my best to avoid the skin damage, but I love the sun.

Swimming competitively and working as a lifeguard for years caused a bout of

skin cancer, so now I'm all about the 85 SPF, hats, sunglasses and shade!!

I am a vampire, so staying out the sun is a big thing for me, lol.

Seriously, I avoid it as much as possible. I want my mom's skin! She didn't have a wrinkle. My mother in law was/is always in the sun and it shows, her skin looks like a leather saddle bag. Not attractive at all.

Plus, my father in law died from skin cancer.
