Desert*Rose 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2008 Luna eclipse tonight here in Germany! Seems like the moon is gone now... I love eclipses... We had one a few months ago and it was awesome I was at my church (i play in the worship band) and we kept delaying worship to watch it. We were bad :003: Then again, it's probably more important to watch the lunar eclipse than worship, it's just another form IMHO :003: Now I'm rambling... SG 37 Report post Posted August 17, 2008 I love eclipses... We had one a few months ago and it was awesome I was at my church (i play in the worship band) and we kept delaying worship to watch it. We were bad :003: Then again, it's probably more important to watch the lunar eclipse than worship, it's just another form IMHO :003: Now I'm rambling... One of my favorite quotes is: "Nature in her thousand voices praises God." Sometimes I get as much worship stirred up in my heart inspired by the wildflowers in my pasture, and the beauty of my horse, than I do from a weeks worth of sermons. God likes it when we pay attention to the things He created first: earth, sky, creatures. Once in Ireland I was gobsmacked at the sight of Ballinskelligs Bay at sunset and as I stood there I felt God's pleasure at my appreciation of the beauty of the place. Every Creator needs a little appreciation, don't they.
