Beamish 0 Report post Posted August 14, 2008 LMAO Marion and Beamish!!! That's not that bad...I had to sit next to a kid who was always touching himself in the middle of class. His hand was ALWAYS in his pants!! *shudders* I have to sit all day next to a kid like that- my client.

angelic_22 0 Report post Posted August 14, 2008 I will have a complete day to do photography here in Central Alaska tomorrow. Got some great tips on a perfect spot - plenty of caribou, moose, etc. The bushes are nearly chest high - full of berries. Only problem is, it is populated by a huge number of Grizzly Bears. As I am not 'packing' a side-arm, I am trying to find someone who is and is also photographically inclined. Hmmmm, Those bears will be able to waltz right up to us in those bushes, tap us on the back and say 'Hello, you look tastey'. Wondering if I should chance it if no one in the party is packing..... (You only have to run faster than the slowest member of the party). We got stuck behind a nasty roll over accident yesterday coming back to the facility. Looked like a guy in a truck drove slightly off the road, over corrected and then rolled his truck several times, ending up in a ditch. The emergency crews were picking up the bigger chunks of vehicle and carting the guy off (major injuries). Closest hospital is about 100 miles away..... Hope he makes it
