Magnolia 171 Report post Posted October 31, 2011 Has anyone else seen the promo for a show called something like "Muslim in America" (not sure if that's it exactly) and "You Don't Know How it Feels" is playing in the background!
Patty Petty 9 Report post Posted October 31, 2011 No, I have not seen the ad for that, Barb. Funny though you mentioned this song as having played in it. I just posted my answers for the Sunday Sixpack and this was my least favorite song choice, lol!

emmie 2 Report post Posted November 4, 2011 Well they won't get my $45.
SingsInFrench 262 Report post Posted November 4, 2011 ^ I pay the $40 (it's that much to renew) so that I can buy presale tickets. Also I couldn't have won the Buried Treasure contest if I wasn't a member. I don't care too much about the message boards. But the cost will deter trolls/stalkers. Patty Petty 9 Report post Posted November 4, 2011 The only way I'd pay a membership fee again is if I cared about tickets, which I don't. I made the conscious decision last year when I went to the Tampa show. I got a pretty good ticket, and didn't go the presale way. It was in the side section, next to the stage, about 3 rows up, so I was level with the stage. I also won't do more than 1 show, unless it is a show that friends are going to and we are making a mini vacation out of it or something. If it's a small show (Vic type show, Mudcrutch, etc...), I'll be there. But for a Greatest Hits show in an arena/shed, nah, one show is enough and certainly not worth hundreds of dollars. Amber 70 Report post Posted November 5, 2011 Since I haven't been to as many shows as most of you guys, I will continue to pay. It is still a thrill for me to see the greatest hits up close. Of course, I do have to save money for knobs shows now too.......
SingsInFrench 262 Report post Posted November 5, 2011 I've only been to a dozen TPATH concerts, and I still love going. My counselor says that if I could go to one every month, I would be cured of depression, and I'd be one of the happiest people alive! Of course I'd much rather see small, intimate shows, but I haven't been able to fly to CA to go to one. Maybe in the future. I'll keep hoping!
Nel 71 Report post Posted November 5, 2011 For me, Tom Petty sold out years ago. I've been a jaded fan for at least five years.
AmyLou 5 Report post Posted November 5, 2011 no telling what I'll do if/when shows are announced, but my reaction to the latest Calif. shows was eh?!... Kind of feels like it's time to hand it all over the the newer and still motivated fans who haven't had the chance to do what we all have. But you never know. As far as the $45? Can't imagine not being a HCC member would actually impact my ability to get good tickets if it ever comes up again.
Nylle 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2011 $45 for privilege of paying $300+ for a ticket? What a bargain.
