We had an infrequent visitor early this morning:

that bobcat looks regular cat sized...bobcats are not mountain lion types? ok i think i need a kitty education...only wild animals around here are deer ha ha ha

Despite it's serene look, that's about a 30 lb kitty. Mountain lions are 2 to 3 times bigger.

Weird monkey, I love your bobcats pics. We used to have one that would come into our backyard and eat our cats food. It never bothered the cat, but I'd hear all this noise [the cat bowl being moved around] at night and peak out the window and there it was. Our cat would just ignore it.

WM, those bobcats are pretty. Cool they come so close to you.....I am waiting for our visitors now. We have a group of mallards that come about now and stay until the summer. Well, they land in the back pond and then walk up to the bird feeder in the back yard. I have this camera now I can take a pic as soon as they come...

Also, that fountain is neat!

Agirl, my friend who lives right up against the foothills of Joshua Tree Nat'l Park has a bobcat that comes and sits on his patio every day!

I am loving this little digital camera. Here is my Mikey....she is an indoor/outdoor cat...wears her bell and her break-away collar. But sometimes it gets too cold and she wants to come in and watch the birds from this window. It doesn't look so comfortable to me but she loves this spot....:heart:

Just got back from a very cold walk on the beach. The waves were really kicking up and there were quite a few surfers braving the cold....

My feet (and fingers) were getting numb just standing out there. But die-hard surfers will not be denied....

Went up to the Boardwalk, too. Soon everything will be up and running again...

I could have went for some of that coffee, lol...
