What do you need to do today?

Recommended Posts

I need to go grocery shopping. The rest of the day will be filled with working with the pups on a few new things. Of course, cooking dinner. Then I shall get ready and head out to celebrate a friend's birthday tonight!

How funny, I know a Sandy whose thyroid has also been running riot - she's Australian.

That is something. My Sandy is of Irish descent; she has the biggest, bluest eyes and tons of freckles. I heard from her yesterday; her thyroid is still way too low, so they upped that med, and they want to take her off Paxil (too many side effects), and put her on something else. She says they're taking away her 'butterflies and rainbows'!:037:

Today I need to:

Print out at least a few more copies of the short story for people to read (including Sandy!).

Do some more laundry.

Vacuum

The ever-present paperwork

NAP!

Go back to work tonight, and deal with all that. Eek!

Have you ever watched Tim the tool man? Well today was like that. The WD decided to scub the stove top (stainless steel) and I knew this was going to be a disaster, but i watched. after she cleaned the 2 right side burners with "Bartenders Friend Cleanser" (good stuff), she claimed her back was hurting. So i said "stand aside and let a MAN take over". I proceeded to get out MAN tools, with drills and wire brushes to power brush the last 2 burners (just around the burners, not the whole top). I got the left front burner done in a matter of seconds and told the WD, "let that be a lesson to you" and moved on to the left back burner. While i was doing that, i never noticed that my stomach was pushing in the knob for the front burner and that while I was doing the back burner, gas was coming out of the front burner. Needless to say, a spark ignited the front burner and a huge ball of fire came up and engulfed me and the WD screamed, "you're on fire". I backed away and patted my shirt and it never really caught on fire and neither did I or my hair. So all is OK, I'm fine and will live to be another day older. I wish i had it filmed, I'd put on the Comedy of the day video's. Will I ever do it again, sure, cuz all men are Tim the toolman....lol.

I already did the Costco thing - full of deadbeats and low-lifes in there today, glad to get out of there, made the trifle, done laundry, going to shower and change and pack up the doggies and go to Jeff's.
