What do you need to do today?

Recommended Posts

1. Call our car repair place to ask them, WTF? Charge me $500.00 to change a hose and belt, and I drive it home and the engine light comes on? Ack!

2. Wait for the repair/replace quote from the Maytag place in regards to our dryer.

3. Go to the laundromat and do some laundry.

4. Go to Costco with Lindsay and her friend, Chris.

5. Pay bills

6. Think of something to make for dinner.

2. Wait for the repair/replace quote from the Maytag place in regards to our dryer. - They called, quoted, came and repaired. YAY!

3. Go to the laundromat and do some laundry. - Damn comforters, lol.

4. Go to Costco with Lindsay and her friend, Chris. - Since it is raining, wonder if they still want to go.

5. Pay bills - Since Thanksgiving, I've done nothing but open my checkbook, lol.

6. Think of something to make for dinner. - How about changing this to, think of something to bring home for dinner, haha.

I got the last of my Christmas shopping done today (I'm visiting my brother starting tomorrow, so I put it off, lol).

Now I need to have dinner with good friends and afterwards, pack for my trip (story of my life).

Thanks for the update, Ref - rofl #6 :044:

My check engine light came on this afternoon. How did it know I have an oil change scheduled tomorrow? After I stopped by the mechanic's to let him know, then it reset itself I guess, because the light went out. I hope it stays off. [knocks wood]

^ Ack! My daughter's car was in the shop for the same reason. She just needed to replace her gas cap. WTF? Anyways, once she did that, the light turned off.

I just need to keep it together tonight. Very emotional day for me. :085:

The mechanic ran a diagnostic anyway, and he thinks it was a stuck air intake valve. Not something to worry about unless the light comes on and stays on.

I've also had the light come on because of a not-quite-tight-enough gas cap. The little line that attaches the cap to the car got caught underneath, so it didn't seal. They told me to make sure I tighten until it clicks a few times.

gonna cook pasta and potatoes (pasta fagioli, beans replaced by little cubes of potatoes) for supper when daughter and b/f get here. after making 3 gallons of sauce yesterday, it's the logical choice. besides, my daughter wants it....lol. just not sure how much or what meats i made the sauce with to heat up, if any. sausage, meatballs, country ribs or bracciole.
