I hope the rain holds off here..going into the Pine Barrens for the Chatsworth Cranberry Festival. Always so much to see, crafts, antiques, cranberry food and drink of all kinds....bringing my camera. The trees should be looking beautiful there....have a great Saturday, Farmers!

Go to the monk's open house and retrieve my dog (also nosh on terrific Thai food). He got out yesterday and went over to the monastery, and they convinced me to let him stay overnight, since there were people there setting up and he loves to supervise the activity.

I need to remember the camera this time.

took mom to 1 dr. for a checkup, another dr next monday. went back out and bought an oak kitchen cabinet for above the stove and a new range hood. old hood went to ceiling and needs replaced and i didn't want that style again, so i had to get a cabinet too. gonna watch the yankees game now and make something for supper.

made a couple calls and waiting for return calls on a couple minor things to upgrade kitchen. went outside and used some ether to clean a part i need, ether cleans great, only thing better was inhibsol til it was banned in the early 90's! other than that, not much going on. gonna cube up boneless/skinless chicken breasts and fry them up with peppers and onions and eat with a loaf of italian bread.

71 degrees, guess i better get my ass outside and cut the grass!!!! later put some steaks on the grill.

finally got the grass cut, went out to do it and the battery was dead!!!!! set me back awhile til i got it charged and then all was fine. that hasn't happened in years, might have to look into a new battery next spring. while charging the batt, WD said she had to go get gas and would i like her to get some fried chicken for supper. sure, why not. so steaks on the grill are out for today. now i have fried chicken, where is sharon....lol?

got a call at 10am from an old friend mel that played bass in the 'human beinz' and we met at 11am to bs and exchange some cd's and listened to some music. great seeing him again and talking about old times and new. i'm listening to some of those old rare singles they did before they became famous (nobody but me) on capitol records. other than that, make sirloins on the grill and wait for bro to call back and discuss a trip to LA so see the knobs!
