Refugee 7 Report post Posted March 12, 2008 More concerts have been announced and more are on the way for Jimmy Buffett's "The Year of Still Here" tour. The latest itinerary shows the trek launching April 21 in Woodlands, TX, and hitting more than a dozen cities across the eastern half of the US into September. Two-night stands are booked in Bridgeview, IL, and Mansfield, MA, as is a May 3 spot at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Details are listed below. Most dates are currently on sale, with tickets for Woodlands; Cincinnati; Burgettstown, PA; and Bristow, VA, being offered up to the general public between Friday (3/14) and Monday (3/17). Buffett continues to support his latest studio effort, 2006's country-leaning "Take the Weather With You," which became his second consecutive No. 1 debut on Billboard's Country Albums chart. He also put out a couple of live recordings last year: November's "Live in Anguilla," which captures two recent shows on the Caribbean island, and April's "Live at Texas Stadium," which revisits Buffett's 2004 Dallas concert with Alan Jackson and George Strait. The leader of the Parrotheads is also staying busy with several other endeavors, namely a new restaurant under construction in Waikiki, HI; a foray into the casino business in Biloxi, MS; and a new book, "Swine Not?," which is due in May.
