YES! A few times. When I lived in Portland, my co-worker who also worked for a local newspaper, always got backstage passes. I went with her a few times. I mostly remember going backstage for Jane's Addiction and The Black Crowes, before they were well known. The best though was in 2006 when I got to go backstage to meet Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart. I took a picture with them and they signed my original Dog and Butterfly LP. I was Sooo nervous, but it was very cool.

My answer wasn't there.... No but I'd like to (but haven't tried)

Funny enough that's not something done over here... shame though. Only place I have had that privilege to be a VIP was in Geneva at the Davis Cup.

No. Apparently all my friends have...LOL My sister had the best backstage passes when she went with my dad to photograph Janis joplin, the Doors, Jefferson Airplane and the Grateful Dead... Her stories are great. It was a total thrill.

In 1983 I won tickets on the radio to an Eric Martin Band concert at, I think, Wolfgang's in San Francisco. We got to meet the band backstage after the show and get our picture taken with them. As a teenager in love with Eric Martin at the time, it was a thrill for me. Hmmmm...I wonder where they are now?

Last year AnotherBee and I had the experience the other way round:After the show Joseph Parsons and Todd Thibaud mingled between the audience, answered questions, gave autographes and Joseph took a meal......at the table next to mine.......while Bee was talking some words to Todd who was standing a few steps away.....

i have a couple times, but the thing that sticks in my mind the most is when ALOT of us went to philly to see tpath at the OLD spectrum. it was a cold ass nite in nov, about 5 degrees below zero. we met outside and waited for the doors to open. once in, a fellow farmer had reserved tables for all of us to eat, thank you dear, you know who you are. while we were eating, alot of the girls got itchy pants to go upstairs and find our seats, so we did. after we went to get our seats, jackson browne came into the restaurant and bar!!! he signed auto's and said hello to everyone. AND WE MISSED IT!!!!!!!!!!! i should have known better to listen to a woman.....lol.
