D'Addario EJ38H Phosphor Bronze High Strung Nashville Acoustic Strings

Nashville tuning uses the high strings typically found in a 12-string set. It’s a secret studio weapon featured on loads of classic records, such as Petty’s “Free Fallin’,” the Stones’ “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” and Kansas’s “Dust in the Wind.” Doubling parts with a Nashville-strung guitar creates a pseudo-12-string effect, but inevitable variations in performances generate complex harmonic relationships that make Nashville tuning uniquely different. Warm, bright, and balanced, D’Addario EJ38H Phosphor Bronze High Strung Nashville acoustic strings are custom-designed for the perfect Nashville sound. For something a little different, give Nashville tuning a spin!

I've never strung a six string acoustic like that but it's a nice sound - especially if you've got multiple other guitars going. I can see it for recording purposes for sure.  You're trying to get different textures in there.  Never saw a Heartbreaker play one in concert though.....that I know of?
