Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted January 5, 2008 The current programming is too immature for me (lame reality shows), and Hello, the "V" stands for videos...what happened to those?

Flower 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2008 Current programming is too immature AND next to none videos. My oldest watches mtv I cant belive what they do for entertainment.
emmie 2 Report post Posted January 5, 2008 Never watch it.
jawallac 48 Report post Posted January 5, 2008 I chose "There are too many commericals" because I think there are too many on all TV. I do watch a little VH1 and find what feels like hours of commericals hard to stomach: I want to watch the show, not the commericals. The programming is also immature, but given that I'm in my 40s, that's no surprise -- it's geared towards younger folk than I.
Athena 7 Report post Posted January 5, 2008 I keep tuning in trying to find videos. What happened to them? And if they do show them, it's mostly rap stuff.
LizzieB 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2008 I said "What's MTV and VH1?", because I haven't watched it in so many years, I probably wouldn't recognize it. I heard they've all but stopped playing videos and put on a rash of reality TV shows. And if they do play videos, I imagine they will not be playing the videos from bands I want to see anyway. Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 No videos! Remember when they launched MTV? The very first video was in August 1981 with The Buggles' "Video Killed The Radio Star".....I miss my videos I remember that Pankie! MTV was so exciting back then. At that time we didn't even have cable but down in L.A. they had a local station that use to play MTV for 4 hours on Saturday nights from like midnight to 4am. I actually stayed up to watch it.
