Refugee 7 Report post Posted December 16, 2007 If neither time nor money were an issue, what do you think would be the most enjoyable way to travel across your country? Where would you start? Where would you end?
Athena 7 Report post Posted December 16, 2007 I would go by train and travel all the routes that Amtrak has to see as much as the U.S. as possible. Train travel is slow enough to enjoy the scenery and I won't have to drive. They also stop often enough that I can jump off wherever I want to spend some time. Mary Jane 49 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2007 Well if i took a train or car the journey would be over in 3 hours so i think it would have to be an old gypsy caravan and horse, or better still a canal boat
agirl 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2007 Train. That would be so much fun.
Wingspan91089 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2007 Rv, travel the US. Same here. Then I'd take my RV on a Boat and go to Europe and travel around there.
Starfish 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2007 I would drive so I could stop at all the silly roadside attractions the rest of my family doesn't care to take the time to visit. I'd start right here in Pennsylvania and end on the west coast, take a cruise up to Alaska, then fly to Hawaii... where I would stay.
emmie 2 Report post Posted December 16, 2007 I think I'd take a very slow drive out to Vancouver.

Hey Sydney, Morgan and I were talking about this last night, the three of us are going to rent a RV together, and you two are gonna come out to Cali to pick me, and then we're gonna follow TPATH around and see the country! Sorry to make plans for you without you there. :003: Haha, if only. I would love taking a RV around the country. Thats what my grandparents used to do, and they had loads of fun with it. Ladywiz 4 Report post Posted December 16, 2007 I would love to travel cross country by steam locomotive! Start in New York, then Chicago, St. Louis, New Orleans, Austin, over the Rockies and up the west coast. I'd be happy to do the same trip on a modern train, though!
